I don't really know what you mean.... But I don't have cable, and I don't care either. I barely have internet at home, but I never use it anyway.

I hear ya, Seldane. I'm in the same boat. Cable TV is more or less an expanded amount of channels, but you have to pay for them, whereas regular "Satellite" TV, is free. (Except of course for the TV.)

So you meant CABLE TV! I was thinking about internet.... I do have cable TV though. I could make it without them, but I wouldn't watch TV then. Ever.

You really think Scrubs is that good? I find it fairly boring. And somewhat.... I dunno, but I don't really like it. At least it is good that they have removed that fake laughter in that program, which they have on like every program on earth.

At least it is good that they have removed that fake laughter in that program, which they have on like every program on earth. that usually comes from a live audience that is paid ten dollars per hour per person to clap and laugh when prompted, I only saw scrubs once or twice a few years ago, i thought it was cool that it has the sidekick from oliver stones Wall Street and platoon. Oh, right now I dont have cable, I am too poor. I used to have the baseball package from directtv, it showed every baseball game. They also included the independent film channel and the sundance channel, and I would like to get those back...

alsmost 90% of the netherlands are hooked up to cable. if you don't have cable you've only got 3 channels. and satelite is way more expencive, you need to get permission from your local goverment to place even a very small satelite dish, and that costs you an extra 100 euro's (stupid rules)...on those 3 channels there are non of the fun series...

i have cable, big deal. People now feel that most of their lives need only revolve around the internet or tv. Face it, people are to lazy to get up and go outside on a nice day, and get active. It's not that hard. Honestly i could care less if i didn't have cable. Society is corrupt enough, why not fix some of the damage one piece at a time, starting with cable.

meh, i enjoy my cable but i guess i dont use it enough to really care if i have it or not, i agree with albermine a bit and i also think that cable is alright if you really want it, my life doesnt revlove around it and i rarely watch tv im either playing runescape (when im just that bored) or at the ymca swiming or something so yea. so i guess its just a waste of money in my opinion. cable is for those who want it and if i didnt have it or internet id be at the ymca anyways so i guess it wouldnt matter if i had it or not

I guess I would be OK if I didn't have cable because I would have the internet!
But if I didn't have either, I would use my own trusty brain to entertain myself.

Glad to hear that alot of people don't rely on cable. It's good to know that people these days can entertain themselves without having to have the use of technology (which we all enjoy and love). But aside from that i would be miserable without cable and internet, but if i didn't know about it to begin with i wouldn't really care. That is something to think about. If it didn't exhist or never had it we wouldn't feel anything about it because we wouldn't know about it. So i guess i would be the same happy old me if i didn't have it because i wouldn't know about it.

Hmmm..if I didn't have cable..what would I do? Well..I HAVE cable, but my grandparents watch it =3. I don't watch tv. Everything I watch is on my monitor with my computer, hahaha. Like a lot of my anime I watch on my computer. *looks around, then begins waving his hands around frantically* Now now! Before you start pecking at my like vultures and bashing me, I don't download licensed anime =P. Yes, it's true..I download animes like Prince of Tennis, Bleach, and Initial D: Fourth Stage, and Loveless >.<. So it SHOULD be alright, ne? Bah, anyways..I could care less about cable, because if I'm not on my computer, I'm playing my PS2 and if I'm not doing that, I'm reading manga, and well..if I'm doing that..I'm sleeping @_@

I don't have cable. It's isn't even offered where I live. I haven't even bothered to hook up an antenna for the couple of channels I'd be able to get here. I watch movies and shows on DVD and even subscribe to a DVD rental by mail service which provides all the watching I ever feel like doing. My parents weren't big on TV and for parts of my childhood we didn't even have one that worked. I just never got into the habit of watching random TV.

I refuse to pay for television. I mean I don't even watch regular TV, except Simpsons reruns. Of course now with 7 seasons on DVD, I don't even watch those anymore!

I dotn care cuz ive got satalite now. The only problem with that is that I'd probably have to listen to the radio to get news. Other than that, I only enjoyed tv back when TMNT, Captain Planet, Tekkaman Blade (TECH-NO-MAAAN!), Batman the animated series, Super Mario, the X-men, Rocko's Modern Life, Dexter's Lab and all those other gnarly shows came on. Now its all just horrible comedy and badly done anime dubbing for toddlers that comes on (Sponge bob and simpsons are all that save it). Before i got satalite, all i used my tv for was gaming and the news/weather. ok, for me (i forgot about this) cable = my internet. so i'd be pretty sad. but thats only till we finaly get fiber optic internet *shakes fist at the Japanese* ohh why do they not share the wonderfulness that is fiber optics? we get it, u guys are gods of tech!
