New Ys Fan!

I had previously played Ys games for various systems at friends' houses over the years (I distinctly remember Ys III on Genesis and Ys VI for PS2), but I never really had to urge to play the series myself. I'm a lurker on another gaming forum, and started to read about Ys Origin, and I fell in love with the screenshots and art. I read (on the Wiki, and another forum) about the Ys games, learning about the different games/versions/remakes etc., and recieved YsI and YsII Complete a couple days ago. I'm just about done with YsI, and I absolutely LOVE the game, so I decided to order Ys Oath of Felghana (because I've read an English path will be coming relatively soon). I've only played one game in the series so far, but I've fallen in love with it, and can't wait to play the next few games.

So, just wanted to say hi, as I go back to YsI =)

Starting to dig in the series recently? Well, the patch for Oath in Felghana may arrive sometime in January. Also a re-translation for the SNES' Ys IV and the first Ys V translation ever is coming. So, nice timing, since you may play most games of the series in english

And a patch for Ys VI will be coming out probably later this year, so definitely a good time to get to know the series.
