:)Hey. I just started Ys 1 and im at the new boss in the shrine and you know the southwest door to go to the boss? Its not open and i can't get there. Did i miss something important? Please help. thanks!

Yeah but when i go to the door it doesn't give me a chance to use it

You're missing something important. There are two keys in the shrine and you need to find both of them. Also make sure you find the silver shield and the mask of eyes. Use the mask of eyes in the area with golden statues and you'll find a hidden door. The second key is behind that door.
