The Apple II? You mean the one with the floppies and the green monitors? I haven't played on one of those since I was 5!
I don't know if I ever said welcome! It's nice to see some *real* old-school on here! The Atari 2600, Intellivision, and the NES were my first systems! It's so hard to keep up with all of the new stuff out these days. Someday for sure, I'd like to hook up the classics and relive the glory days.
I miss the days of green (I had an amber, too, once) monochrome monitors with lots of DOS and text and fun stuff like keyboards that MADE NOISE and felt like you were actually typing stuff. I'm getting old...
Oh! I have a couple new pictures. I got my ears pierced, FINALLY. Believe it or not, I was scared to do it for years. My family is very religious, and if they saw my ears pierced...well...it doesn't matter now, because they know I'm gonna be female. Which is far bigger a deal than earrings. Oh, and I'm gonna start looking into hair removal stuff soon. More importantly...I'm working on finishing Dawn of Ys and Ys Seven.

Man, a change like that takes balls. . . or not. . .
But jokes aside, while it's not a decision I can sympathize with, or even wrap my mind around (I love my anatomy! ), I respect anyone who is willing to fight the preordained order of things to impose their will upon reality.
He who gets screwed by tentacle monsters should see to it he does not become one.
Yeah, it's pretty rough sometimes, but like...it's something I have to do, beyond any doubt. So...I'm just doing it, fighting on through, you know? And as far as anatomy goes, well...I have absolutely no emotional attachment to it, so...yeah. Often I have to remind myself that people see me as male sometimws, because I just kinda don't think that way.
Also, I think I may have heard that joke before...or maybe even been the one making it, lol. I don't really remember
