Does anyone care for this series? I just read a great overlook on the series as a whole ( hg101.classicgaming.gamespy.com/saga/saga.htm ) , and it almost feels like I am the only stateside fan. Excluding Unlimited, I love this series. The "romancing" era is the best, in fact I imported them even though I dont know any Japanese. I hope I am not alone in the dark with this one, and if the games dont look appealing to you at least check out the soundtracks..... stellar.

The Final Fantasy games for Game Boy are actually SaGa games, aren't they? They seem awesome, and I have wanted to play them for years. Sometime, I will.

Yes, the FF Games for Gameboy were SaGa games. I am a huge fan of Saga Frontier, but that's all I've played. Kenji Ito created some amazing music for the Romancing SaGa games. I think he is one of the best composers of battle music.

Nice overview! I played SaGa/FFL 3 when I was a kid, but other than that, the extent of the experience I've had with this series is loving the hell out of SaGa Frontier and stumbling around not knowing what I was doing in the first Romancing SaGa for SFC.
I really want to play the Romancing SaGa remake for PS2, but... the characters are so ugly! Midget world is not appealing to me in the least.

the music and gameplay will really drag you in. Im excited because Kenji Ito is doing some of the music in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
