Currently i have played Ys 1, Ys 2, Ys 4 and The Oath in Felghana and so far i`m interested in whole world of Ys. After playing those 4 games i "created" a small(very small) order of events. Winged humans are defeated by Leflance(sp?) in Celceta. Some humans leave Celceta and settle in Esteria. With them they took black pearl and one of the three masks. Ys Origin takes place. Ys 1 and Ys 2. Ys 4 "mask of the sun" Felghana And here i have some questions. When Genos defeated Galbalan? Galbalan`s lines before the fight wasn`t very clear for me, was he created by winged humans or was he defeated by them? If not then who are his creators? Also at the end there was a picture of man with wings, was that Genos? Galbalan mentioned "black ark" or something similar, is it explained in other games what is that? As i understood black pearl was power source of city which belonged to winged humans. Was black pearl used in Ys 4 to reactivate city? If yes then how Guruda "found" it? IIRC at the end of Ys 2 it looked like Goddesses will be guarding it. In Ys 5 Lute Genma said something about Goddesses and the statue of a winged man(unfortunately his lines are a bit buggy). How are they connected? Are Goddesses of the same race as Eldeel was or were they created after winged humans? If some of those questions are answered in Ys 5 then just say so but if it`s mentioned somewhere else then i`m not afraid of spoilers

When Genos defeated Galbalan?
Ancient times. I assume it was before the fall of the Eldeen, but considering the changes made by Ys VI aren't known throughout the entire series yet, we'll just have to see.

I imagine he was made by humans, but was defeated by an Eldeen.

Yes

It is explained in Ys VI.

I thought the black pearl was destroyed by Adol in Ys II and I haven't played through IV or Dawn at all.

Lair and Feena are Eldeen, as well as Genos and Eldeel.

My mistake, not Ys 5 but Ys 4.
Aren`t Chester and Elena decedents of Genos? If yes then why they are without wings?
What do you mean? Ys VI changed some details from other games?

I'm guessing Genos or an Eldeen descendant did the dirty with a human. The "sons of heaven" copulating with the "daughters of earth" isn't an unheard-of notion.

Without a doubt. In Wanderers, Galbalan never mentioned an ark and Genos wasn't depicted with wings (if the opening was truly to be believed.). I'm not too hopeful on Falcom remaking the other games, but if they did, it would be a great time to retcon certain aspects in order to make the series more cohesive.
