Look what i found on Hobby Link Japan there is a new gash-apon figure collection for Ys coming out. I was selling the first series in the for sale section and people really seemed to like them (they are quite nice). it looks like they are making new ones, included are Adol, Feena, Reah, Ernst, Terra and Elena . there is also 2 limited things a different sword and sheild for Adol, and a Crystal Ball for the goddess...sweet the original series was quite nice looking i feel that these will be no different. maybe if we are lucky we wil see some more Oath in Felghana ones next. any new Ys merchandise is a good thing for the fans. www.hlj.com/product/ATS82014chris

how come I cannot type gash-apon without putting a space between the word? if i type it normal it keeps changing the word to gashapon. the letter "S" becomes a letter "C" why is that?

Ask Deuce. He added that modification. I don't even know what it means!

gashapon is a Japanese toy, they are known as trading figures, think of something like trading cards (sports, comic, etc) but instead of opening the pack and getting some cool cards you get a randomly assorted toy instead (that is what the other Ys ones were as well). when you buy them in a store you do not know which one you will get , they come sealed in a package, if you are lucky you may be able to pull the one you want. only problem is you may get doubles or a figure you do not like chris

A question though, since they are random. Is this site offering a few packs at once so you can attempt to get more then one figure or is the price for 1 individual pack?

it looks like for the price that they have it labled, that you get 1 full unopened retail box, which probably has about 6 to 8 packs (figures) inside, so you will probably pull most of the set if you are lucky. I do not see them selling them seperatly yet, if you buy them seperate they will be about $4.00 or $5.00 apeice but finding places that sell them like that is hard in the USA it is probably better just to buy one box. if you get any doubles you could very easily sell them on this site.

the only problem with bidding on Yahoo Japan for Usa members is the fees, 99% of the time you have to go through bidding services when you add the fees with the final cost and shipping it is usually alot more then you should pay.

Ooh, those are cute. ^.^
I'm kinda past collecting "toys" as such... but I really think the two goddess figures in that group are pretty.

Where's Dogi, Chester, Leeza, Goban, etc. There's a whole bunch I'd love have figures of, these are still cool though.

As much as I like girls, I can't help but feel underwhelmed by this set; it's half-way a 1:1 mirror of the last one. I suppose part of the problem is I find it a lot easier to collect figures of monsters/beasts... I mean, who wouldn't want a figure of Galba-Roa?

hi the original figures from series 1 were about 4 to 4 1/2 inches. they are quite nice so this second set should prove to be worth the money.
