The title of the album is "Ys Metal Arrange CD - Tears for the Lovers". Maybe just "Tears for the Lovers" for all I know. But that's the title I found it under. I didn't compile it myself, on the other hand I have no idea if it's an official release (I can't find an order/information page or anything.) It would great to see this arrange album posted in the download section. :D Anyway, if you want the album, bug me about it on AIM (Daemonifuge), or get it off me on the VGM Central DC hub. I don't really have anywhere to post it unless Seldane wants to take it off my hands and stick it in downloads.#nosmileys

Has to be a compilation. The metal mixes of Mighty Obstacle and Release of the Far West Ocean are from the Songs of Zemeth CD which just came out. The rest are likely picks from the first three JDK Band discs. The songs on here are not from Songs of Zemeth. Furthermore, they're not done by JDK. They're done by a band called 'Out of Sight'.

This album is supurb! The songs are really heavy for the most part. Some are Van Halenish and some are Slayerish. Its definetely worth checking out for die hard Ys music fans.

Hrm, Actually... There are a few more that I'll list out.
1. 2004 - Melodious of Olha - Ys 6 Arrange Album 2. Falcom Collection ''Ys vs Legend of Heroes'' (Toyoshima House) 3. Music From Project Ys 4. Ys Series Metal Arrange CD Tears For The Lovers [Out Of Sight] (The reason this topic is up) 5. Tribute to The Music of Ys2 with FALCOM Classics - earth Japan SOFT
Those are all of the doujin Ys music that I know of. I have them too. So if you're on the VGM Hub, get them from 'Seizui'.

Sounds cool, now if only I could get the people at VGM to friggen verify me! Aw yeah they take forever, Bishop. Try messaging Nemo and bugging him about it; he's kind of an ass, but as long as you meet all the requirements he should verify you. :/

This is a doujin CD. Doujin bands are basically "amateur music bands" producing their own releases. Doujin bands arranging Video Game Music are quite numerous and many are so skilled their releases look/sound better than many officials ones. I wouldnt say it's the case for this particular Out of Sight album that got pretty poor mastering, in my opinion. If you're interested in Doujin Music, you can check the list I'm keeping here: www.saladedemais.com/index.php?file=Sections&op=article&artid=6I'm sharing all these on VGMC after getting them on jap P2Ps. Feel free to grab what you want. BTW, Nemo isnt an ass. He's just running a pretty popular and crowded hub, and people often mistake "lack of efforts" with "sticking to the rules to avoid chaos".
