If I remember correctly, in the Japanese versions of Ys 1-3 for Turbo, they pronounce it Adoru, AW-DOUGH-ROO, they call him Adol in Ys 6 for PS2 like Aah-Doll. And ofcoarse, he's AW-Dull I believe in the anime, then A-doll in the Turbo versions. I would think it would be closer to the Japanese Turbo versions of the name, but, I think some have debated that it's not. We are continuing to call him A-doll in Ys 4 dub. I think Deuce would probably be the guy to answer this question correctly.

I've always thought is either "A-doll" or "Ah-doll"
The worst one is in Ys anime where I swear I heard "Ud-Doll" by Dogi in the 3rd episode... I swear I could do a better script and voice acting for the anime...
I know in Japanese Fact was pronounced "Facto" or "Facte" with a heave pronounced 't.' In the anime English dub... it's "Facto" it just sounded weird and odd...

I say "Ah-doll". Always have. (It's also the only natural way to go for me, since I'm swedish.) I think "Ay-doll" sounds dumb. I don't like the voice acting in the TG-16 games.
