Has anyone heard about this series? I have only heard about it and I am thinking of playing it. I heard it is an incredible RPG that is some what similar to Ys, but not many Ys fans have heard of the game. Could someone give me some info on the games? What consoles are they for, etc? Any help would be much appreciated.

YES! That is the website I looked at. I watched his informative YouTube video about the series and that is how I got those rumors and info - From what he said in the video.
He doesn't explain what console the game is for though. \=

Both SNES and PC Engine, as well as some old computers.

did you know that Xak was officially translated? www.woomb.net/Xak+MicroCabin.htmlthat's a version that runs on Windows (as they say it's the MSX2 Version it'll mostly be an emulator I guess)

Yeah but MSX fans hate them so much. They gave me pirated versions of the Woomb games.

They failed (of course, again: copy protection is a futile attempt!). Those MSX doods hacked the Woomb games to work with regular emulators.

I am seriously starting to think about getting this game for the PC Engine and whip out my TurboDuo again. ^_^ I'll look around to see if I can find it. Is this game for English?

Xak 3 for the Turbo, is in english. There is an english patch via Nightwolve.

But since that game is on the TurboDuo, how is it possible to apply the English patch to the disc? I can understand putting the disc into your computer, but I don't think an English patch would be applied onto the disc. \=

Oh, okay. Wow, and so I guess a mod chip or anything around that kind of a thing isn't needed for a TurboDuo, eh? That is pretty cool. I imagine that could run pretty slow though if you are using a burned disc on the TurboDuo.

Not really. The burnt disc would run normally.
Mine does. xD For Ys IV.
