For those of us who know about this game, also know about how its almost impossible to complete without a guide or good japanese language skills. There was always a faq available, but it was only 25% complete, making this chapter in the Lunar saga, very hard to enjoy. Fortunatly enough time has passed, and a great fan of the series has translated and made a faq for the game. www.lunar-net.com/msguide/I am very excited about this, and I hope there are some lunar fans on this site who will enjoy this too!

I don't know if I'll ever actually play thru the game, mainly bought since I love the first 2 Lunar games.

Damn, I thought you meant someone had translated this game. I really like this (for Game Gear), it is the only Lunar game that I have been able to get into (because of the music!!). Lunar Walking School for Game Gear IS the same game, right Someone translated a small part of it. But not enough. Damn translation scene, they pick the wrong games! The Lunar series is really popular, I'm shocked that this wasn't fan translated YEARS ago.

I have that one for Sega Saturn. xD
I got some Lunar games because I wanted to get into them, but this series just don't appeal to me much. =/
But thanks for the link. I'll surely use it a lot. =]

Unfortunatly the series is becoming more obscure every year and I cant see a translation patch coming. Who knows though...at least its better than Lunar DS haha.

Check this out. agtp.romhack.net/Looks Ghideon is working on a translation of the Game Gear game. This will probably get cancelled like the Ys V one, though. But it is nice to see something, at least. Or maybe it'll come out in six years...

All I could think of when you said "Check this out!" was Nash from the PS1 version of Lunar:SSSC.
On an interesting (and pointless) note, doesn't Nash kinda look like a certain rival Pokemon trainer to you?

Hahaha nice
He was my least favorite character in the series. Seriously how could a guy with a crappy haircut, and a robe, pick up the "soon to be" ruler of a floating island.... I mean "come on".

Don't forget, bath robes are the latest trend in Vane! I suppose it has something to do with him being a two-timing jerk -- isn't that the sterotype these days, jerks get all the ladies? It seemed to work with Kyle and Jessica, don't forget! She just loves a man who can't keep it in his pants. I really enjoyed the conversation in the PS1 version about the "exlax cookies"; Jessica apparently thought they were chocolate chips.

Agreed. More recent example would be Jansen from Lost Odyssey.
