Avatars - best place to store them??

Just quickly wanting to know where the best place to store and link from my avatar is - - -

the last place I stored my avatar shut down, so I'd really like to know.

PS: Hell - while I'm at it - might as well start a thread right here about where we all store our Avatars (if we'd like).

Nice - heard about imageshack... just hoping that the image doesn't suddenly get deleted like the last time I tried.

errr - on imageshack - after I've uploaded, it gives me 2 or 3 links with which to use it in a forum....
