I dunno, I wish I was still younger. Seemed like I wasted my boring youth for a boring job and I now I feel a little old.. I guess it's better to play hard whatever age you are.

Don't feel bad. Boring youth is still boring even with oodles of entertainment, gaming, etc., I should know.

Pretty much, but everyone is broke by my birthday, and also partied out. My birthday is always quiet. My little brother's birthday is on x-mas eve. Beat that. He only gets presents once a year.

Everyone seems to think I'm *one year older* with facial hair, but without facial hair... I'm *three years younger*. It's really bizarre. I look younger than I am too! Although I can't grow enough facial hair to make a difference so I don't have that. :/ People always say I'm around 17~ when they try to guess. I've never been ID'd for anything - even when they were supposed to! Bit disappointed about that Lucky you! I still get ID'd! Still! sdadfsa

I stop getting ID'd when I'm recognized. I'm easily recognized as "that tall, boney guy in the trenchcoat". However, I'll still get ID'd if I'm at a store that strictly enforces IDing, following recognition of a person.
// I don't have a *lot* of facial hair, but I don't shave alot either; emphasis on my unattractive characteristics keeps people away, which is the plan. (I don't care, in other words.)
I have light chops, light goatee, light neckbeard and a strange peach-fuzz mustache (which mysteriously, is divided into 4 chunks as opposed to 2).

I'm pretty tall for an Asian, so people usually get intimidated by my height instead of judging me from my face. And I have a boyish chinese face for my age... at least that's what my colleagues say =p
But I suppose being a head and a half taller than most of the people around you sorta makes you seem older or something.

Yeah, you westerners are always so tall. I'm only 6' tall and that is pretty tall among Asians. Yet, I see many tourists towering over me on the streets...

Why IS 26 such a forgettable age? For some stupid reason I keep wanting to either reclaim my youth ("I'm twenty fiv- er, no, six. Damn.") or distinguish myself with an extra year ("I'm twenty-seven, right? Ack, no! Six, siiiix!"). That described my situation perfectly. Surprising though, how you guys are like this too! Perhaps 26 really is a very forgettable age?! I've never been ID'd for anything - even when they were supposed to! Bit disappointed about that I've been ID-ed everywhere!! Not really for my age though. I always have to flash my national ID or passport to prove I'm not a foreigner. Its incredibly, incredibly annoying and an utter pain. Especially when you've forgotten both at home and have to pay extra fees for entering somewhere. X( (I think the oddest age related incident that has happened to me was last year - when this silly gatekeeper man, at the front of a museum, actually believed my friend and I were 11 ( ) and let us in on kiddy fees. XDDD Now THAT was ridiculous! [But a good ridiculous! He surely was blind though!])

What sort of places check if you're a foreigner?!

What sort of places check if you're a foreigner?! Usually most museums, official galleries, official libraries, archaeological sites/artist spots, official toll plazas, etc., etc. Or most random normal stuffs (kind of like what happened when I was sending nunuu her painting). They don't really ask for one's ID. They just assume you're a foreigner, demand that exorbitant fee in dollars and refuse to believe that one is a Pakistani until one screams at them and slams that ID card in front of them. X'D It was a bit funny... last time with nunuu's mail, the stupid man kept saying 'No ho! You EMS no allow until you give passport! ID work no no!', making me run aaaalll the way home, get my passport and THEN he realized I was a Pakistani. Wheee~! Waste of time!

"Hungarian side of the family", huh? Pretty cool. xD I also have an hungarian side in my family. The other one is italian. (Even so, I was born in Brazil. Weird stuff.) The hungarians in my family are taller than the italians. I'm somewhat in the middle. I'm 1,72m tall. MP83 could be a basketball player.
