Hi everyone, i am from Brasil, so if my english doesn't look accurate please forgive me. I am a huge fan of Ys series, since sega master system version. This game totally got my mind when i finish it. It was 1990, i was 11 back then. Now i am 30, got my major on journalism, got marry, bought a house, have a kid coming soon, but still cant forget the game. I have a room in my house all decorated with Ys stuff, its the same place where i had the pleasure to enjoy all the other parts of the serie. Lately i got an Ys Origin copy, but unfortunely i haven't played it yet, cause i don't speak japanese. i really hope someone makes an english patch for it soon. Anyway, nice to meet you all.

Welcome man! I'm from Brazil as well.

Hey, I'm brazilian too!! Bem-vindo, cara. Saudades dele.

Hello mister, and welcome to the site. I hope you will enjoy it a lot here. There are many brazilian members here, and even more brazilian non-members, that are huge fans of Ys. Must be popular over there.

Hey do you guys like Sepultura??? I know they are from Brazil too and they kick ass. These guys are very famous here. xD Or rather, there are many rock and metal bands here which people like... Too many actually. I personally don't listen much to their music, but some of my friends really like them, among other bands. Cool to know you know them though. There are many brazilian members here, and even more brazilian non-members, that are huge fans of Ys. Must be popular over there. Somewhat yes. xD Most of them got into Ys because of the Sega Master System version. That console also was officially and directly released here by Tec-Toy, so the success of the system was very big around here. good for Ys.

Yeah, there are tons of very interesting Master System things in Brazil that would be cool to have. That system RULES. PS: I know some people that like Sepultura, and I have known about them for as long as I can remember. Not my kind of music, though (there's a huge difference between metal and metal).

I like the riff work on their cd's, thats why I like them. Its too bad they broke up though, but I get the chance to see the Calvelera brothers at monsters of rock.

Nice of you guys of mentioning sepultura. I consider myself a very fortunate person for been born in the same city and lived my youth on the same neighborhood as Max & Igor Cavalera. We used to attend to the same school, they were so calm and easy going back then. I still cant stop laughing when i see him roaring like an wild animal on T.V, it simply doesn't look like the same person. I like their music though, well i like lots of kind music actually. But i don't consider myself an eclectic person. Speaking of music what is your favorite Ys soundtrack? I like "The morning grow" from the first part of the series, to those that doesn't know which one this is(I believe piratically everyone here knows...) the tune that plays at the end of chapter I. Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

The Morning Grow is awesome. Really great song, and really sets the sad mood that the game is over. I always want more when I hear that one. Then comes See You Again, which cheers me up.

I LOVE "Don't Go So Smoothly" from the Ys I&II PCE, as well as its "To Make The End Of Battle". I also LOVE Ys III PCE's "Valestine Castle". "The Dawn of Ys" from Ys IV PCE also rules a lot, as well as the first field music from both Ys IV. And many more. xD Ys is awesome in music. Game music has most of my favorite musics. I'm very open to music though. I accept most stuff.

(Don't worry, I fully intend to one day own the actual CDs... but in the meantime, if Galbadia Hotel's got 'em, I see no reason not to download 'em, y'know?) What? It's okei other than the fact that you're pirating (out of print CDs where the company and artists probably don't get royalties anymore anyway since people are only selling them second hand)!?I thought you loved Falcom! For shame! XD XD XD XD XD XD XD
