Cool, Japan! Have you ever been there before? Two hours isn't much, but it's two hours more than I've been there. Hopefully you will have an awesome journey. Nope, never been. I discovered on the way back there is another stop in Japan too, at a different airport. Totally excited about everything that will take place between August 29th -Sept. 13th.

That's right, I disabled almost everything and changed the password. It happened while I was at work, but I'm glad nunuu caught it, otherwise I might not have even visited twitter last night.

It should work on emulation. It'd try it out myself, too, if I could be at home today.

Sacred? Don't you mean Noble District of Toal, a song that is played in Sanctuary of Toal. Boats mentions it on Ys II (w/ XSEED localization). He says something like "I think the area where I got it is called... I want to say, the Sacred District of Toal? Something like that." And yet you still haven't responded me on Twitter You would sure love my profile description. Hey, I looked, I didn't see anything from you on my twitter. I must have missed it and it's gone, I checked everywhere. Post the Yuzo Koshirules' hearts on Twitter and I'll response you there

Ah, that! That's intentional -- he doesn't remember the name of the area exactly, so he says what he DOES remember, fully aware that it's probably a little off. -Tom So then Boats is just talking about Sanctuary of Toal? Was this some kind of pun because of Ys IV's Bronze District?

So in the original Ys Toal is Toal, but in Ys Origin, falcom decided to romanize his name as Thor? Falcom Engrish is weird.
Side Note: How does one get the videos to even appear, I just keep getting a blank page.

Yup, the Ys III trick mentioned in MSX Magazine (1990 #9) does indeed work on emulation. imgur.com/a/VfE8JGotta love Adol the Pole, especially. Not only is he completely immortal in that form, but you also kill enemies by only being in touch with them (=no attack key required). A true game breaker! Funny. xDDD

What's the relevance of those screenshots? On the left you see Adol finding a golden pedestal in a pond, with a random swan roaming in the background, and on the right you see the water guardian Frea at some other pond. Yes, apparently there was originally plans to have random chickens and swans roaming in the fields in Ys I, which you could catch and earn money, or something like that. Oh, they were for catching, not monsters you killed? How do you know that? Google Translate?
