I'm really bad an introduction messages, but here I go.


My name's Cory, but you can call me Dingo if you'd like, and I found out about this forum through a couple members at HardcoreGaming 101 (some may will recognize me by my user name). Granted I've never really played the Ys games I wouldn't mind getting into them, but the main reason I chose to join the forums is because of the community. The guys who recommended this forum at HG101 said that it was a great community with a good discussion on gaming in general outside of the Ys message boards. Naturally as someone very passionate about gaming, that attracted me.

Anyway, back to the introduction. I'm currently 19 years old (soon to be 20 next month) and I'm going to a nearby community college to major in computer programming. As someone very passionate about games, I would love to make a carrer in the industry and become a programmer for video games. I also enjoy the journalism side of gaming and would like to pursue that field as well. I enjoy fighting games (primarily 2D), platformers, strategy games, and action games (Devil May Cry as my favorite of this genre). Outside of gaming I enjoy anime and manga, reading, and hanging out with my friends.

Well, I guess that does it for my general introduction, lol. I look forward to posting here (you'll most likely find me in the forum for general gaming) and getting to know some of you .

Thanks for the welcome FM.

I have been following E3 a bit. Most of it was a bit underwhelming, but I enjoyed a couple interviews I saw with Seth Killian (guy with Capcom for Street Fighter 4).

You are very correct Wyrdwad. Though I wasn't the one who started the thread, I did read your suggestion and decided to check this place out.

And I'll hold you to that last comment, . Gaming is something I'm very passionate about (repeating myself, but hey) and I hope I'm able to get into the industry.

Oh, I should add that yes, this is an awesome community that is full of awesome people. We always talk about awesome stuff! But what makes it REALLY awesome is that we totally respect each other's opinions. (I guess that's the bonus that comes with a board where most of the regulars are in their 20's and up. ^^)

There might be the occasional conflict but they NEVER last very long and we don't flame! At all!
