Woo hoo! Looking very lovely so far. I'm a smidge iffy on the font in those screens, but as a co-worker likes to say, "It's free! Move along!" --so I'm not going to complain too much. XD Also, maybe I missed it back there in the thread, but did anybody suggest "Meucia"? Still vowel-heavy, but at least there are none repeating, right?

Yeah, I don't like this game, but I am still going to give it a second chance when this patch comes out. And, I get hyped regardless. I am hyped about the Sora no Kiseki translation too, even though I have no intention of playing the game.

And Lumi: Meucia ain't bad, actually. I think Miusha is the leading contender thus far, however. I should take a vote. -Tom Yes you should. And then everyone should vote for Meucia. XD Heehee!

I guess I missed this discussion, but why not Mucha? That's the way I've always seen the name, the official Falcom spelling, and it seems pretty ok to me, even if it's not very pretty. So, what's the big deal?

I hope this project goes well.
I've got a question for the translator, I believe. The SP upgrade menu. The last choice for 500k. What does it say?! I must know. Please respond. Thanks.

Lance, if you just want to know what it does without an accurate translation, it just increases movement speed. Not worth it at all. And mucus...? I certainly didn't see the connection

or if Bandai had used the name "Jurio" instead of the obviously-intended "Julio" (oh wait, THEY DID). Obvious to *you*! I didn't even think of that! I always wondered WTF kind of name Jurio was. Is Julio pronounced like the rapper?

I have never heard of joo-lee-oh either. The only name that I've heard of with simialar spelling was "hoo-lee-oh", also spelt with a J!

Just to help, the name Julio exists in portuguese. Althought we use a softer J than the english-speakers, it certainly isn't the "H" they use to say it in spanish. As for Miusha, Wyrdy, point taken, and that's the name that gets my vote. I really don't like Meucia. Anyway, how will the other names go? I hope you don't use Dulless instead of Dalles. I think you should use the most comon denominations for the known names.

Julio sounds like a very European name, and I have heard it being used many times. With a J sound, not H. PS: This is seriously off topic. The name isnt even related to the game.

For one the "Dull" part irks me, and whats with the 2 "s"?

I certainly didn't see the connection I think it does more than that. Personally, after getting that upgrade while playing with Toal, I noticed his attack range slightly go up. Perhaps I'm tripping but yeah, thanks for telling me.

Miusha, Miusha, Miusha [...]. Also Ranzor is correct about "Julio". I have also never met anyone named "Jurio" in Brazil. But I'm sure someone named "Jurio" would be picked up at school for mockery due to the name. xD (I can already imagine what kind of jokes people would make.) (Offtopic to Ranzor: "Você Jurio? (Jura)". Daí o outro: "Jurio por Deus!". xD Essas besteiras. XD)

Well guys...i went straight on in the game moodification. Finally i succed in implement Clice font as you asked to me. I increased the size of both dialogues strings and of the character names. Down here there are some screen with Cicle Rodantine applied. I chose Cicle Rodantine that is one of the type of Cicle font. If you prefer another form please let me know. I'm also attching some screen here in order to make Wyrdwad see the maximum string lenght for each line. This is the first one: As you can see the final dots are on the box border so i'll have to put a "\n" to set the last words in a new line. Wyrdwad if you wanted to see the maximum size here is another screenshot: As i told you in one of my last mail the string are not resized and plited in several lines automatically by the game engine but you have to use the "\n" to use new lines with the maximum of three lines for each box. I can post here a screenshot where you didn't use the \n and the resulkt is that all the dialogue is in one single line and the last part is outside the screen. here it is: Is this clear? Well don't worry for the strange chars in the character name line in this last sscreenshot...this is why i set the new exe charset to european and so the japanese names are not displayded properly. This is just a matter of future modification..when all the names will e translated no strange chars will appear Well guys let me know if this is the right and final font for the patch since graphics are waitin' for the final decision in order to start workin' over the graphics. I'm waitin' for your suggestions and comments. C u soon
