Hello,
I found EDIII (PC) for a great price used but before I play it I want to play ED I and II. What is the best version of these games to get?
I am deciding between the PC, TG16, and PSX versions. Has anyone played any of these?
Thanks!

Yeah, the PS1 and Saturn versions need to be avoided at all costs. Despite the formats they're on, they look a lot worse than the SNES and MD versions - if you can believe that! I recommend the MD versions, personally. They look quite a bit different than all the others, but I really like the direction they went with there.

Thanks guys, I will give up one finding the PSX versions and will hunt down the PC Engine releases. I'm sure I can find them for cheap (heck, the first ED is up on the Wii Virtual Console so I could always get that if I have trouble finding the actual disc...)

The PCE games can be had for about $1 on Ebay. The Japanese versions. The NA version of 1 (the only one available) will cost around 50.

I'll definitely be getting the JPN versions then.

The SFC versions too can be had for about a dollar each. These games aren't worth squat!

It's ok, I've decided on the pcengine versions. I found a used copy of ED2 in good shape.
