I've just bought a 3000 Yen iTunes voucher - what should I spend it on? I already have the Sora no Kiseki and Ys 3 albums- is there anything up ther that's great and really hard to get in physical form, or anything that's so good I need to get it no matter what? Thanks!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is that all it takes to purchase songs from international iTunes locations? HOT DAMN. I need to get in on this too! Lots of stuff I want from the Japanese one!!!!! *___*
Also, I recommend VM Japan, Zwei!!, Xanadu Next, and that Ys VI vocal album just for the vocal versions of the opening and boss battle tracks. The Chinese game ... Gen ... something has nice music too.
I'm at work so I have no idea if what iTunes offers. ^^; And can you buy tunes individually? :O

Yep, tracks are about 150 yen each I think - only had a quick look.
I bought the card from J-List so it's a little bit more than the straight 3000 Yen, but the conversion between the 38 dollars I paid and the value of 3000 Yen in GBP isn't all that much.

Thank you for all the suggestions! I'll abuse iTunes preview feature and see what I like - sometimes it's hard to see the wood for the trees

Is the Legend of Heroes IV Electric Orchestra on there? That's a must hear also. It's been a while since I listened to it, but I must recommend that one.

Ys IV Perfect Collection 1-3. Some of the greatest Falcom music in existence.

Thank you for all the recommendations!
After quite a listen, it looks like I'm going to go with VM Japan for the time being, but there's certainly plenty more that I want to get! If only they'd accept foreign credit cards... :S

I think they have most of the Falcom music catalog up there. Under Falcom Soundteam jdk alone, there are 7 pages worth of albums and I think there's 10 albums on each page. X_X It is awesomesauce, I tell you! Legend of Heroes Sora no Kiseki FC SC Super Arranged CD~ Yes. I am biased. On the list of top-ten most downloaded Falcom tunes, I think a good 50% are Legend of Heroes VI tracks (from various versions like arrange and all). :3 I think all of them were vocal tracks though. :o

I'm somewhat at a loss to believe that some people actually like the Sorcerian Perfect Collection series. I thought Disc 3 (the only one I have) was incredibly bad, especially when compared to the Ys Perfect Collections.

I actually own PC3, I think. ^^; That's how I got interested in the series. I have the other two in mp3 format only. :/

Vol. 3 is also considered the weakest of the three in a lot of ways too. The songs are good but the synth choices aren't always good. But did you hear stuff like Evil Shaman and Double Devil? Those are Sorcerian classics. Also, did you give disc 2 of vol. 3 a listen? All three albums have a 2nd disc that is pretty dang nice, with live arrangements and a dance mix. Yes, but I still found the entire thing to be pretty weak. It just wasn't what I was expecting, is all.
