Never liked these, especially if they go for more than the 200 Dell asked for their Mini 9 a few weeks back. You can get a regular laptop for 450-500 now without even waiting for a sale (at least in the US) that destroys these things in pretty much every regard other than battery life, and size if you prefer smaller. Even then, the battery advantage is pretty pitiful until someone does something about getting rid of that godawful 945GC chipset that's being paired with Atom.

Regular laptops tend to be heavy and bulky. Carrying a netbook around is hardly a thing at all.

Regular laptops tend to be heavy and bulky. Carrying a netbook around is hardly a thing at all. Indeed, the whole reason I'm sticking to the tiny notebooks is for their size. I don't use my EEE for anything other than chat and Web browsing anyway. Hell, I'm not even like you cool cats with your external CD/DVD-ROM drives (or maybe giant USB keys) -- I can't even install any games on it unless I download them! XD
