Thanks, I've been drawing for three hours already this morning, I'll probably have a completed Mario something by the end of today. In the meantime, this is a character called Deadlock, who's appearing in a Prophet comic (which I'm so happy to be involved in) with work by at least seven other artists at the Rob Liefeld forums. With so many involved, I did this so we can have a ready reference for him:

A work in progress, I hope I can post the finished version tomorrow:

Been awhile since I dumped random art in here! Cyhirae kinda-sorta begged me to do this one, and I've wanted to draw the character for awhile. Yay for fanart (other than Ys). That cloak was some crazy experimental crap, I tell ya... @_@

Awesome. SD3 rules.

The nostalgia factor kinda makes me favor SoM a little more, but yes- SD3 is good stuff. I might scribble some more stuff for it if I get suitably inspired...

I know what you mean. I have nostalgic feelings for SOM as well, but I don't think the game is that much fun nowadays. Which sucks, because deep down, I love that game.

Yeah, the gameplay feels rather...er.. clunky to me nowadays. And the script suffered some of the usual dumbing-down of the era/system limitations, I guess. Still, great memories of playing the hell out of that game. And as this is the Art Thread(tm) I suppose it's worth pointing out that without SoM having entered my life, I might never have gotten into drawing at ALL. So it has that merit going for it.

Nice, nice. By the way, I tried that game out on an emulator last week and it was SUPER FUN. I was INSTANTLY hooked by it, and that's extremely rare for me - especially when it comes to platformers. To my massive disappointment, it did not work on my flash cart. I will need to buy it someday.

Cool, a topic for art. I love to draw. But last half year I tried to experiment stuff trying to get a new style, instead of using the same old anime style I did for a long while (and the styles I used before that look kinda weird because that was when I was 12 or something =P) Most of my stuff is at esteel.deviantart.com/ .

Are you left-handed GMF? XD Yay, so am I! xD Anyway, this Rockman rocked! Really cool video, you are very skilled. Now I just had the idea of doing this kind of video, but to draw Adols in one minute!

Ahh... my favorite comic book hero! And it looks awesome too... it's like you just get better and better with each drawing. Why the bright red background, though? That Mega Man video came out great too, but my college art teacher would probably smack the back of your head for sketching out your lines like that (that's what he did to me ) anyways, I've finally become a devianTART. maybe I'll have a better chance of getting feedback there than on my crappy MSN space (if this doesn't work I'll just have to revert back to doing fan art again cuz that always seems to get noticed...). I'm just moving all my stuff over to there first, I'll try something new after that...

I like how red makes things stand out. If I don't have a background planned for a picture, I use red a lot. As for sketching the lines, sorry that happened to you. I started drawing that way from the "Marvel Way" book. That book has had the most impact on me more than any other.

Finished this drawing of another forum member's Phantasy Star Universe character as part of an art trade. It went too well not to share. It's kind of big so I'll just link to it. CLICKY!
