Wai! Lumi's colouring and drawing is super super amazing as always, but I'm also liking the content being drawn! Long haired Kains! <3!

And I still envy your pretty pretty colors, Yakra. You do real painting, right? I'm a failure at working with acrylics and watercolors and the like... ^^;

But I saw a helm-free model of Kain in Dissidia and was like, "OMG YES! XD!!" ...and thus the picture.

Working on Cecil now, because I loves the space paladin very much. ^.^

I can relate to that excitement at seeing helm free Kains~ My own reaction was quite the same. X'D One also saw that Cecils were in progress by a ye! *awaits that most eagerly!*

But really~ I want your skills in making every person look so incredibly pretty!

Since the look of his face was like, a huge secret for, what, twenty years of the series? XD It was exciting. I found it interesting that while a lot of fan artists like to give Kain yellowy-blonde hair, Square's designs actually went with a much darker blonde. But I like it.

And Cecil is.. not cooperating. T_T That armor of his is just... OMGWUT. Curse ye, Amano...

^.^ ..also, thanks about Fiorello. I was just sort of testing how to do the lighting effect I wanted, but it came out kinda nice.

Yep, one purple and one yellow. The yellow on even has black schlera for extra wackiness! It's what happens when you gouge an eye out and demons replace it.

I finished putting some ink on Prime and started testing out some colors on him:

GMF - Haha, thanks! I'm SUPER happy with Aeolus' design too. The goal was to make a character who COULD be a fairly pretty sort of guy (as men of his country tend to be) who's just... gone to seed after a few years of hard living and heavy drinking. ; The pose was fun; I had to yank one of my swords off the wall and take a picture of the pose so I had decent reference to draw from.

And holy crap does Prime look like a badass. XD!! Nice.

Fai - ..It's okay. Drooling over Kain is a perfectly acceptable and poetic response.

Spamus - ...OMG you posted it. ^^;;;;;; Well, I'm still glad you like it. And I'm going to take note of that black sclera business, just in case I decided to color that crazy looking bastard. He was such fun to draw! (I don't often get to do characters with such a crazy, evil sneer going on.) And.. POINTY ARMOR.

..though I just realized I totally drew him doing Golbez's victory stance from Dissidia. ^^;;;;

Yeah, I had to post it, it's wonderful. Though if you'd rather I didn't for any reason I'll take it back down.

Yeah the black schlera is easy to miss since it's under his bangs and I don't color him often. Evil sneers are fun as crap.

As for Golbez, thats totally fine since he's who I use most in Dissidia anyway. Faust is even a sort of mage knight, though Golbez is mostly sorcery and Faust is most smash you with big effin' axe.
