Ee, neat, this looks like as good an excuse as any for me to finally go back and play through all of Zwei!. ^^; And for me to...umm...finally pay for it? <_< I like the fact that they're adding voices, too. When I was younger, I often wished I could disable most of the voice acting in the games I played. But starting to play games in Japanese, as well as the recent step up in the quality of English voice acting in many games, has caused voiced dialogue to...sort of grow on me. Lots. ^^; To the point where it now feels almost weird to me when it's not there. I guess I've gotten a little spoiled...
It looks like the port is being handled by Falcom themselves, too? Wasn't their work on Gurumin and the Sora no Kiseki games meant to be quite good? After playing Konami's (I think?) PSP port of Napishtim, that's...kind of reassuring.

I'm actually getting happy-excited about this even though I wouldn't be able to understand a thing of it! XD I'll most definitely get this one though! (Unless if some confirmation of an English release comes out! Now THAT would be extra amazing! I would be able to play it before a decade passes by or something.) PSP games are so much more hassle-free as compared to PC ones! :'D

Wow Ill buy this, but its too bad they redid the tracks... I want to hear the original tracks too.
Just to be sure there is no Region lock on PSP, and this game is playable for the non-Japanese community right??

A hopeful english release too? Far out! I look forward to this!
Also: PSPs are not region-locked, unless you're playing movies on them. XD

Very very cool news...i can't wait to see Zwei!! non my PSP. Is there the release date specified? ;) Seems to be listed as being "sometime in 2008". The text is sort of hard to see and it's blurry toward the crease. wyrdwad: Say, you do translation for a gaming company, don't you? Can't you exercise some sort of ... Falcomy mind power on the higher ups to bring this over? Or nudge Mastiff a few times (as they seemed happy with your pimpage of Gurumin)? Everyone needs to experience the cuteness and funness of ZWEI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is cool news but I'm still holding a grudge in Falcom for not releaseing Oath In felghana and Origins on the PSP or PS2. ITs just outrageous.

*why don't I have a PSP?* Well, hey, the 3000 is coming out now so you're getting in on the action at a good time! :P We should write to Mastiff at different times asking if they'll pick up Zwei!!. Kekeke.

Oooh. I'll just echo the excitement and calls for a US release that have already been made in this thread.

Heh, I liked the typo they made on the official website. It's fixed now, but where it currently says 'PSP『Zwei!!』公式サイトオープン[09.26]' it originally said PSP『Zwei!!2』公式サイトオープン[09.26]. I thought for a second they were announcing a Zwei 2 port already.

Alright, this is the closest thread I could find so can someone help me on the PC version? I'm trying hard to finish up some extra boss fights.
I'm currently at level 30 but why are there dungeons for level 31 and above? Isn't level 30 the maximum level I can go or am I missing something? The Earth Dragon is kinda difficult for me to beat...

Level 30 is the max, yeah. The higher-level dungeons are all optional, I believe, and are ABSOLUTELY INSANE. I never beat them. (If they're what I'm thinking of, anyway.) -Tom Well, if he's fighting the dragons, that's not a Dream Labrynth boss. :P Brief info on getting to the dragon and what you get from the fight: homepage1.nifty.com/sugimo/falcom/other/zw_gdm12.htm#D_L31Actual strategy (uh, not really dragon type-specific) See bosses 9, 10, 11, and 12 ^^; homepage1.nifty.com/sugimo/falcom/other/zw_gd2.htmDream Labrynth lulz. THAT LEVEL 20 IS MISLEADING as, with each increasing level (re: going deeper), enemies increase in power and defense, INCLUDING the bosses. >:O The 4th level *enemies* always killed me. ALWAYS. homepage1.nifty.com/sugimo/falcom/other/zw_gdm14.htmEr, I should mention that I was maxed out in levels when I did those dungeons. :P Also! More strategies: rcktrncn.srv7.biz/game/falcom/zwei/zwei-ene5.htmlI love how the pics are the doodles~! ^O^

Yeah that's the walkthrough I was using. Doesn't say much about defeating the Earth Dragon. I could only decrease a third of his life before he annihilated me. And using the combo specials did nothing since he always heal after each. So how the hell do I kill him?? Unless you're telling me to defeat him by attrition... god knows I need deft fingers to keep myself alive for a whole 15 mins...

:(
I wish I could help but it's been way too long since I've played the game. However, I am certain I beat all the optional bosses and enemies except for the 4th level bosses (and in some cases, 3rd level ^^) from those labrynths of insanity.
Oh, gotta add this: If I can do it then so can you!!! For certain!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Cuz I suck at action games!)

So... could Zwei!! 2 also run on PSP? Without that being possible there will be scant chance for a port.
Also, I downloaded the PSP themes. The two ones with the ingame stuff, have really nice menu icons, that work well with anything!
