Hi all,
Been a longtime member, mostly lurker. Thought maybe I'd reintroduce myself and hang out on the forum more.
I've been out of the Ys loop for awhile, but playing Ys Book I & II again on the Virtual Console rekindled my obsession. I missed out on Ys Origin and the DS remakes so maybe I'll jump start my Ys collection with those.

Awesome I used to go by "Duren" online and on here, but I adopted "Savory Cade" a few years ago as my online name various places and on PSN/Xbox Live.

Lucky you. I've only had Unsavory Maggot since last year, so perhaps I'm more likely the irony to your monicker. I haven't been on Xbox Live yet -- perhaps that's something we can look forward to? I doubt I'm half as competetive as the rest of the foul-mouthed monkeys I keep hearing about, so that may be a change of pace for someone such as yourself. It all depends though on what games we get into. I haven't even tapped into my free silver membership yet -- do you know anything about that? I want to be sure I'll be able to buy Megaman 9 when it comes out. I have the 360 Arcade, so I don't have the HD for it -- do you think that'll be a non-issue?

No, you should sell it and get a PS3 instead. hehe, sorry I'm a bit biased since I co-host a PS3 podcast (shameless plug). Nah, you'll be fine as long as your 360 memory card is large enough to hold MM9. Live Silver is completely free, you just need to register for it. Feel free to add me, Gamertag=Savorius. I don't play online much, but you need Live Gold for that anyway. Edit: If you have any Target department stores around you, check their clearance sections. They've been clearancing out the 20gb 360 hard drives. Prices will vary by store though.

Heheh, thanks for the tip! As for being biased goes, I completely understand. My first 360 only lasted one day, I had to wait until the "price drop" at Target... which didn't happen for me, but I got my replacement anyway. When I went to Walmart, the prices dropped a ton! Point being, I'd rather have a console developed by people whose niche market isn't declining due to faulty products.

Welcome, welcome~! Yay for longtime lurking. ^_^; I've managed less than 100 posts in my apparent...four years of membership here? o__O Gosh, it's really been that long? Most of my posts were made during the last two months, too... Muu... ;__; Join the club, I guess?
...
Wait, there is no club. But we should totally make one. <_<;
