I have a GC to USB adapter, but I never use it because I don't like the Gamecube controller. I don't know why I got that adapter, it was a bad thing to get. Dood! Is that something... "easy" to find on places like eBay or internet stores such as finchmall? I'm totally hunting one down. I never thought they existed.

I don't know. It's from Mayflash though, and their products are garbage. Highly un-recommended. If you find it online, run as fast as you can, even though you aren't actually near it. It's the thought that counts.

You could try the route of GC to PS2, and then PS2 to USB.

Since there's inevitable delay on all of these devices, that doesn't sound like an all that great idea. I mean, playing a game like Mario is practically impossible with the delay of one adapter, imagine using two.

If you just want to play Nintendo games, flash GBA cart, a GBA player for your gamecube, and viola.

What if the Gamecube's broken or worse: packed away in a box somewhere?
Doomed.

Buy a new one then? They are $30 bucks at pawn shops now. Hoho! I see what you did there! You mean Gamestop is no better then a pawnshop, nice one. But really, they can be had cheap to the max.

Ha Ha its true depending on how you look at it. A pawn shop is a good business if "used" markets are there.
