Has anyone seen it yet ?
Care to give it an out-of-10 rating ?
I'm a fan of these movies and I've enjoyed Daniel Craig's work so far but is he still offering his unique style to the character or is he starting to look like he's becoming too comfortable ?

I have heard good things about the movie, but die hards have a bit to bitch about. Apparently the chick he gets with is not up to Bond standards, and he doesn't say "Im Bond, James Bond" at all. I am going to see the flick this coming weekend, so if you haven't Ill be sure to rant. So far I like him better than Pierce.

I haven't seen it myself but a friend of mine who loves Bond movies says it wasn't as good as Casino Royale. Claimed bad pacing, largely due to too much moving from point A to point B with little to no smooth transition or something. I don't even remember exactly what she said because it was a few days ago. I love my memory -_-

Quantum of Solace? Yeah watched it. Not as good as Casino Royale. Then again, Casino Royale wasn't that swell either. Hmm, I never really like Bond movies anyway.
The dude acting as 007 this time is a pretty cool actor. But if you must know, some of Asian women around me don't think he's that cute. The other one was way cuter... Pierce Brosnan or something.
Whatever.

OK - I saw it.
I thought it was OK.
Some of the effects they used were notably impressive. The part where 007 falls through glass with another guy he's fighting with was increadible! I'll hire it on blu-ray just so I can see that frame-by-frame!
So far Daniel Craig has done a great job but why has all the women (bar one) he's so far slept with ended up dead ?

Because Bond has so many STDs that they've crossbred and intertwined and can now kill someone by methodology completely unrelated to normal disease causes, such as attracting bullets.

I'm getting the impression that not many a folk here is a bond fan - so -
What is everyone's favorite bond? .... and why?
I know that Craig was chosen in an attempt to attract more of the younger movie-goers - and because apparently he can do more stunts than the other bonds - but who really takes the cake?

Man! What a way to shoot a conversation starter down. Fair enough I suppose. Look - if we'd rather change the subject to who's your fave movie hero instead - well that's fine too.

My favorite super hero is: FM-77.
I don't know anything about other super heroes. Are there more? I look forward to not knowing about them.
Sorry, spamming ends now. On my part, at least.

I mostly dislike Bond movies, because it tries to be Blaxploitation without actually using black people.
That being said, I did have a guilty pleasure out of Live and Let Die, if only because it involved Voudan and the best Bond character ever, Sheriff J.W. Pepper.

I love the nwest incarnation of the Bond series. It's not the James Bond we used to know, but so far there've been 2 great movies.
