Its odd. November's just a couple of days away and there's not even a touch of frost so far. I'm still turning on the fans in the morning infact! Ofcourse it never snows here. ( Woo hoo! Look! There was a hailstorm and all the ice got packed together for about 5 minutes and we shall now call it snow! And make five inch high snowmen. -___-')

We get to enjoy brushfires around Orange County instead I've never seen real snow either. Maybe if/when I take a vacation in about a decade.

It's snowing here right now! Lovely fluffy clumps that'll hopefully settle on the ground. I really wish everyone could experience it; snow makes everything look really clean and fresh, and there's something about it that makes everything go quiet.

I think snow is great the first week, then it gets boring and I start longing for summer.

No snow here yet out in the middle of Kansas... Our winters vary a bit: sometimes it starts early (October), sometimes it drags out late (May), sometimes it's pretty mild, occasionally no snow at all... but not infrequently we get horrifying death blizzards and ice storms which cause trees to rip themselves apart under the weight of their own frozen limbs. It nicely complements the brutally hot summers we have fairly regularly (although it wasn't too bad this year).

Kansas has the word ass built into the name; such weather telling you not to live there is not unexpected.
Also if any snow happened last night, it certainly didn't happen here.

I only like the snow, because it foretells the return of Eggnog latte's at Starbucks.

No snow, but the entire world was covered in ice when I got out this morning. It was cold! And icy. As aforementioned.
But no snow.

SO! We were supposed to get some nasty snow-rain storm last night but it didn't happen! However, everything is sort of shiny outside so I suspect we have lots of iced up roads and such. >_>
I wonder how if Smithee got hit with the evil storm?

I always enjoy when things get iced over like that, and it encases trees and telephone poles and suchlike. It's very pretty.
Dangerous as hell to drive in, unfortunately, but pretty.

I love snow, but not too much!
I find it adventurous! In my new area it is cool! I've barely experienced the dry weather so next seasons it will be new to me!

It's like, ultra-winter here. I've never lived this far up north. I wonder what will happen in future months.
It's cold all the time. But man, I love it when there's MASSIVE amounts of snow. Last summer, in june, there was snow where I lived by then. There was so much snow in fact, that it appeared in the news worldwide. It was the SNOWIEST SUMMER EVER!
And also the ONLY snowy summer ever, so I guess it would have been the snowiest one regardless of the amount.
But seriously, never have I seen a winter that had as much snow as that summer. It was crazy.
I am hoping that this winter, in this location, will beat that record! And if it does, I will totally make a snow house!

You think that is bad? At least 20 cm and the bus drivers are on strike! Crappy road conditions combined with traffic like hell, it is horrible! Hell, I had to shovel some obscene amount a couple days back, and I still hurt from it!
And yet, I still love snow!

We had snow, but it became 2' tall hardened rocks of ice. I hate it -- hate snow, and abhor ice. It melted somewhat, but what remains is hardened again. It'll probably snow again tomorrow. The weather here doesn't make up its damn mind -- it'll snow one day, and turn to ice or melt the next day.
