Oh I care about Euro Football teams. My family over in Manchester are huge "Reds" fans.
I always cheer for England and Korea in the World Cup too.

Fuckin' hockey. I hate it. We've got Sens fans all over the place here and if ONE person says otherwise they're done for. I swear to god! I had a teacher who graded based on Sen's wins and losses. Ack, I hate hockey.

If you're willing to do the research, look up past matches said extinct team has been in, and act like they were recent ones when the topic comes up.
I've been meaning to learn more about the Boston Bees, in cause I should run into a crazy baseball fanatic, but you just don't find those guys no more.
