You start off each round of matches by assembling the best team possible, then train them to max their stats. You then play against other random foes in one of the most unique battle system in all of video games. The more you win, the more your team will level up and improve. If you win enough, you can enter a special competition, playing sudden death matches against some of the other best teams. The storyline is similar to Pokemon, where you travel across the land fighting other trainers to level up your team and then the playoffs are similar to the elite four. You also can trade members of your team to get stronger.

Hell, not just the storyline, that entire description made Madden sound like Pokemon.  Except that in Madden you can't just overlevel one guy and obliterate all the opponents in the game with him. |

That reminded of those ambulance beavers in Rocko's Modern Life who would always take the inanimate object the injured characters were using instead of the characters themselves.

That'd be a great ambulance to have, what are you talking about? It'd get you to a hospital as fast as possible. Now being a bystander, that's another issue.
Also, our Maggot, about 19 by my count. 21 if you count the dudes who kinda dodge aside in the second one.

Shit son. You act like you're all used to having ambulances suddenly manifest on the field just moments after you completed a play. Hell, I bet half of them were still sore and most of 'em didn't even know somebody got injured.
