Wheeeeee~ Finally getting that new computer soon! Should be here before Christmas! XD I need to pick out a case though and there seems to be a damn lot of ugly cases out there. (I don't want a gamer-style cases since those tend to look icky.) I need a mid-tower with good airflow, ample amount of expansion ports, and an interior design that makes it easy to insert and hook up hard drives and other stuff. The one I currently have requires you to have midget hands to insert and remove HDDs. >_> So far though, I have my eye set on this one: www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129154But I need a few more to compare and stuff. Any suggestions? :3

Antec 300 or Antec 900 are the only sane computer cases to get.
Are you getting them? Or are you insane?
They have very good air flow, and come with silent fans.

Why sane? :O And why are you the only person that's answered after all these hours? :( Oh YES!! Orpheus in the Underworld! ("Listening" to the credits of Stardust right now. ^^ DO THE CAN CAN!!!!)

XD Orpheus in the Underworld is a totally catchy, if not satirical tune; what the hell is greek or "Orpheus-y" about it?! Nevermind the whole "Underworld" aspect, as that's clearly lost on the artist. Still, a fun song nevertheless.

Sorry, if you caught me three years ago, I could be talking lingo with FM-77, but the problem is that I just haven't kept up to date with everything. I am glad you are going with a slick look, and not some "look at all my neon bull crap." I just get tired of that stuff, and it isn't as cool as the first few guys who did it...Kinda like a Ford Mustang.
Anyway yeah, sorry about not responding. Personally, I just recycle cases, paying $200 for a case when you can just spend that on parts is how I look at it, the case is just a hunk of metal meant to store the parts. Granted, accessibility is nice and what ever other shnazzy fancies come with it, but meh. Speaking of which though, I haven't worked on a PC, like I said, in about 3 years thanks to my laptop; however, I have been looking at this case in my room that I am thinking about filling up with sweet shi-bangs, so I will soon find out if things like PCI Express need special spacing an what not in the back ports.
Edit: I really dig that Antec 300, thanks for the look out FM-77.

I can't recycle any of the cases in the house because chances are, the motherboard might not fit and even if it does, I won't be able to cram one of those monstrous video cards into the thing. Companies should redesign them things already and make them look like HDDs so they can just slide into drive bays. Of course, there is the issue of vid cards needing fans and stuff. I think I'm going to end up with the P182 though. It's so perty and roomy and heavy.

Is that the entire name / model it's referred to as ? Looking at my local ads I'm seeing names like Antec Sonata, Atlas, Titan, Fusion etc.

Hmm I wasn't around the past week so wasn't able to recommend any case... I would have considered Lian Li cases if I were you. They're all aluminium cases, even the cheaper end ones and that means they're very light compared to the standard steel cases. In fact I'm using one now, good built, all aluminium and light. Well something like this www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112184I'd say it's pretty affordable for an aluminium case, though it's not from the flagship models but Lian li cases are all built well.

Yeah, I definitely could use a lighter case. The goofy mini mid tower that came with my goofy Dell Dimension 4700(?) is about 23 or so pounds and even that's somewhat heavy for me. >_>
I be super weak! I just hope I won't have to add any optical drives to that Cool Master one cuz apparently, you need intense strength to take off the front part. D: I figure it's a minor inconvenience so it wasn't a make or break factor in case selection. ^^

I have a Lian Li too, totally worth every penny. All six thousand of them Would probably still be worth the actual 150 retail but I'm el cheapo and went hunting for a discount >_>
