I must say that I'm jealous; Nifflas has friggin MMF2, whereas I've been using plain ol' MMF all this time. When I can afford it, I'll upgrade to MMF2Dev. Our price: $369.00 Time to bust ass... at work! (That could be in the "In bed thread"!) I'll easily be spending over $500 on Clickteam products next year. Hopefully things shape up and I'll get more time on at work, so that I can get everything in one shot! I'll also be needing a new computer sometime, just for development. By the time I get this done, I'd like to have a nice (but relatively small) team assembled for when I resume work on "Project XX". So, what do you intend to purchase within the next future? Maybe you have something to add on the topic of game development? Maybe you'd like to discuss "Project XX"? Post your thoughts here! // My current project "dreamteam"? Wyrdwad as story/dialogue editor and assistant director, Del Stimpson continuing her work as the main graphics designer, and Yakra for box/manual art (and possibly character portraits as well). I have no idea who I'll hire on for SFX, but BGM is down to three candidates: virt, Atsushi Fukai, and Tim Follin! I, of course, reserve the seats as the executive producer, developer, programmer, publisher, scenario, writer, etc.; a large wad of responsibility on my end, at any rate. I'm not sure of the company name yet. I've had an unofficial name for it since I was 16, but I'm not entirely sure. When I have my staff fully assembled, I'd like to take it up with them. I'd also have to look into Q&A, legal departments, and all that other business. I wonder how small doujin companies get started; perhaps I'm thinking on a much broader scale than necessary.

// My current project "dreamteam"? Wyrdwad as story/dialogue editor and assistant director, Del Stimpson continuing her work as the main graphics designer, and Yakra for box/manual art (and possibly character portraits as well). I be honoured! I'd probably drive you insane though, with me running out on your project and dying at regular intervals thanks to my own project! :'D (Speaking of which, I would love to finish that next year. Or rather I MUST! I SHALL! I shall meander around no longer and get those two books done by next winter even if it kills me! Ha! God I'm lazy-slow.... [I'd also like to unravel the mysteries of website making sometime next year so that I can harass people who actually buy my stuffs to go read stupid comics about them.... :'D]) Ehem... that little project rant of mine had so very much nothing to do with game development! X'D What else do I plan to buy/do..? Perhaps get that DS Lite I'd been admiring this whole past year? I've kind of, sort of, lost interest in it though and am wondering now whether its worth it to leave my ancient DS. It's served me real well till now and... DS Lite really isn't that amazing of an upgrade, is it? I should save money... no? [and I want these two particular nendoroids which I've been going insane over and want so so so so badly but kind of feel silly declaring this so I shall just make this text small and hope it makes me feel a bit less stupid]And get Ys Origin! Why did this remind of the Christmas thread(s)? What happened with the Secret Santa plans anyways? It's the 15th and I still can't think of what to give all of you guys! D':

Yakra - The DS lite has a better screen for the touchpad, and the overall look of the picture is much improved.
I would wait for the DSi, because it has a bigger screen, and will support the new DS download service.
Things to think of though: Flash cards are not 100% working with the DSi, and there is no GBA support. If ether of those are important to your "DS playing" then pick up a lite/phat.

Haha, 4-Day Monk Productions. That's an interesting story! The name I'd picked out is practically meaningless. "Prismal Software" -- because we make classic gems! XD

I can totally see Seikendensetsu 3 hitting the download station, and being only for Japan. Its like being stabbed twice in the same place, only 15 years apart.

Those two things DO matter a lot actually. The flash card bit in particular (the GBA bit bothers me just for the mere... idea rather than it affecting my gaming ways X'D) since more than half of my games are on that. You've made the DS Lite sound very very good though! :'D Hearing the picture quality has improved along with the brighter screen, which was what had attracted me to the idea of buying a new DS, makes things better. But... as wyrdwad said, I don't like it's 'petite-ness/sleek-ness'. I like the sturdy feel of this ancient one! ...I can't decide~! D: ...I think I'll think over it for another month. Perhaps the DSi might actually start looking nice!

The DSi is also region-locked for any DSi-exclusive games, which to me totally kills its worth, since half of what I play on any system I own is imported from Japan. (: But ... why are you smiling at the end of that sentence? D: You're happy that you can't play those DSi games? DD:

Another plan is a subscription to Yahoo! Personals. Apparently, I can only reply to someone once, and I can't send or recieve e-mails on a free account. I do see alot of cute chicks, though, and some that describe exactly what I'm after. *yawns* I think I'll wait until after all of my business expenses are taken care of. Nonsense! I'd be honored to have you. Working for me, that is. My staff is currently set to work at their own pace -- as long as they're doing something to be paid for, they get paid. (Technically, that's not how it should work, but... shhh!) All of my employees, I will make up for what I can't pay them on my income alone, should I market the project. I was thinking of something quick and easy, like ebay/amazon/etc. -- I'll take into account the expenses of the materials, and tack on just enough for business and personal income. I don't expect a "get rich quick" scheme, but I do expect that those who purchase from us will have a great time.

Heh, I'd actually tried that a long time ago, but I'd forgotten all about it! // Hopefully, I can remember my username and password. If not, then I hope it's real easy to get access to them. // XD OH MY GOD, it remembers me! Friggin' Aural Vasectomy... I gotta change my UN. XD

I have both, and honestly there is no difference in structural quality between the 2 sku's.

That's your usename?! Wow... that's pretty special, right there. -Tom Yeah, it was a nasty pun. It sounds like "oral vasectomy" when said aloud. XD I came up with the idea a few years ago, and so it stuck as a running gag.

\\ I am anti establishment My cousin is getting married to a guy she met on Lava Life or whatever. It does work I guess. Disestablishmentarianism! Hmmm... the idea that this works intrigues me. I did send a message but got no reply. It seems I am successful in being unsuccessful. Therefore, I am neither here nor there. Some chicks check out my profile every now and then, but they don't bite. XD

Well, I use the slashes, because it helps make things flow nicely. Rather than "edit:" I mean.

That's why I do it too. It's very neat looking, and it doesn't feel like it interrupts the conversation as much as "EDIT:" "MODIFY:" "DEFEND!" and "ESCAPE!"

Why don't you guys just modify your posts to look like a normal conversation then......

Because, that way sucks. I like neatly filing my edits. Using the slashes is the only way to go, without interrupting a conversation. Besides, you couldn't tell that this is actually the part that is being edited. // By the way, do you think this sentence is more obviously the sentence that was edited in, or the former? It makes more sense to make it obvious, than to make people think that they've already read my entire post.
