That's part of the orange flower pattern. :P There are actually several things that piss me off about the picture -- as if the artist wasn't paying attention to where he/she was drawing things.
The mistaken apostrophe is one of the annoyances. :P

I have no idea why, but the thing on the bottom left looks like a Prinny...yes, completely unrelated to Ys, but it DOES look like a Prinny. Oh Falcom, I love you but this picture has multiple fails in it. Ah heck, it doesn't ruin anything for me...but it made me laugh. LOL
