So I'm in an animation class right now and our first project was to work with stop-motion animation, just to get a feel for how the process is done. I've never done stop-motion animation before, but I really got into it quite a bit and made these two animations from Ys and from Mega Man. They're short even though they are about 80 frames a piece, but I hope you'll enjoy them.

Thanks! It'd be fun to try another scene sometime. I just need to flesh the idea out a little better. I had all of one afternoon to do it since the assignment was due the next day.
Edit: Can anyone guess what game the rock monster is from?

Surprisingly, I have NO idea -- but I get the feeling that I'll be ticked when you reveal who it is and where it's from. ;D

Hehe, I'll throw out a hint at least so it's not entirely impossible. It's from a fun little golf game.

Whew. Then I definately haven't a clue. I've only played Mario Golf 64 and Animaniacs Fun Pack (PC), neither of which had a rock creature such as that one; not to my knowledge anyway. (:

The first one is pretty fly. The dissolving megaman in the second on is pretty fun, too. Well done =]

Thanks everyone! I've got a Zelda Link to the Past one in the works, but it may be awhile before I can actually get to it. I'd like to do another Ys one though one day.

Ow, man XD Awesome!
So, YOU did these?! Excellent! =D More Ys animations! XD /o/
Do you take suggestions? Can you make Adol travelling on a boat and, while in the sea, make him throw away all his equipment and money before he arrives to his destination? Strangely that seems to be what Adol likes to do most after a long, intensive journey. xD

Yeah, like "Okay, I'm done with all this!" *throws it away*
Ha ha ha ha ha, Ys fell down! Oh ha ha that was too funny
Make on of Adol busting through walls to save Adol, and in one of the rooms that he runs through a lady is taking a shower or something!

Don't you mean Dogi? : )
Dogi busting through walls would be fun. I'd have to make a bunch of Ys characters out of perler beads for a scene like that to happen though since I do not have any figures for Dogi from that Ys set. Those Ys figures and pieces were from the Collector's edition of Ys I & II Eternal Story for PS2. It is completely possible though if I could make enough interesting sprites... It'd be awhile though before I can tackle something of that magnitude. : )

Oops! I was tired...
Adol and Dogi! It must be because of that "test-tube baby" as Unsavory put it!
