No not really, but I bet it would hurt. What is the most painful injury you've ever had? When I was 5, I was chopping firewood (and no, I'm not making this up). The axe just grazed the wood, and split my toe in half. I was wearing footie pajamas so I didn't realise it at first. I knew that it hurt. I started back to the house and noticed that my foot was really really bloody. I remember seeing the toe, the pain, and nothing else, except for my mom cleaning it later with *shudder* iodine. edit-- whoops, I thought I was in chaotic chat. I had 2 windows open. Sorry well that's it. Surely someone can top that. Gotta be true though. No lyine

I once got stabbed in a big fight with some neo/fake nazi's. Luckly a small knife and no internal injuries...just my pride was shatterd.

The most painful injury that I have ever taken, was a football to the crotch. It tumbled upward, leading to a double-impact which had struck my bladder at the same time. This happened in the middle of Youth Group, at my old church. I yelled "FUUUCK!!!" and left the room. I handled the injury by becoming severely ticked off; I beat up the paper towel dispenser in the men's room until my knuckles bled. Let's just say it was another field-day at church. Yep.

"Chester stabbed me!" is the first sentence that comes to mind after seeing the topic title. xD Anyway, cut off part of your toe with an axe?!? Holy shi*, someone hardly can match that. Nail into the fett?? >.<''' Thta happened to my father once, when he was a kiddo. I got hurt many times in many ways, but not as much as some of you. (Though I did almost die many, many times. I posted about that in some thread I don't remember now. )

I didn't cut off a piece of my two. I split it in two. I hear ya on almost dying. It's humbling how easy we can find that big "game over" screen in the sky.

I think it was MY thread that you posted it in, but I don't recall the name of it. I just know that I'm the poster and it had something to do with dying and that yeah, it was in the chaotic chat thread. It was this thread!!!

Breaking my ankles skateboarding, and having three screws surgically inserted into each foot. They were separate incidents, occurring about about 3 months apart, but man I hope I never have that kind of pain again.
When my pals kept asking if I was alright, I just told them to "shut up and don't ask me any questions!"

.......owwww!
Do you still skateboard? Ankles are just about the worst places on your body to injure. ankles and necks are very very delicate. I too hope you never have that happen again.

I don't skate like I used to anymore, but I always joke about going hardcore again.

I don't think I ever went through anything as painfully dramatic as all of you guys (or maybe I did and I just don't remember, since I hate even remembering pain?) but I did end up... kind of burning my hands once? Does that count? It was thanks to this sculpture I was working upon once. An assignment, in which I was learning how to make moulds using silicon. And since I'm a silly twit, I took off my gloves, to make sure I got the silicon into each crevasse, using my bare hands. And so, later, as I washed my hands, layers upon layers upon blackened layers of my skin came off with the silicon. Hurt like hell for days!

Painful is kind of a misnomer, the most damaging types of injuries tend to hurt the least.
The most "damaging" injury I ever had was working at a metals yard as a kid with my careless brother, we're throwing sheet aluminum into a can and he got too close and hit me in the head with a lot of force with some of it. I went to the hospital and got "fixed" but I was very close to wearing an eye patch, and I still don't see quite right out of my one eye.
Never actually felt it though, gogo endorphins.

That gave me a really cold chill at the end of the paragraph. And a horrible mental image. >___< My God! ... o__o ... Glad to know your hands are okay nowadays though. ... Man, I guess no one never had a damaging, painful moment during life.

Silicon is that dangerous?! Then WHY do they use it for breast implants?! D: I didn't realize that potentially, I could see someone walking down the street and her size D would turn black and fall off! O.O

They banned them...hell almost 2 decades ago. They released the ban just recently but most reputable doctors still won't install them due to the risks of it.

I went down the bobsled run at COP yesterday, and my Uncle in Law had major back spazims. It was the craziest ride I have ever been on, hands down. My uncle on the other hand, cannot even get up off the floor. He had acupuncture last night, and the guy still can't move. Now that is painful. BTW COP is: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada_Olympic_Park

Dorn't worry Red Hairdo.... you've got the rest of your life to have a severe injury. That's not very nice of you to say so, but you're right anyway. xD But hey, I did get severely injured many times during life... it may have not been as severe as what many people here have experienced, but still. Hm... now that I think of it, I haven't been through life-threatening situations for many, many years now. And I didn't get serious injuries as well these last years too. (As for that, it's probably because I stopped being the "sports guy" I was before. So I haven't been submitting myself to many risks for a long time.)

Damn, my injuries were never as bad as those!
The most I've had was, hmm...probably either breaking my left ankle (both ankles I probably sprain once a year, but only one of them) or, call me stupid and crazy lol, riding down my Gram's pavement driveway (it's probably a 30 to 40 degree slope) on a hot summer day, on my scooter (one of the one's you push), WITH NO SHOES!!! I got half way down or so and I put my foot on the brake...the brake was too hot so I instinctively (but stupidly) put my foot on the ground to slow me down! I got to the bottom, turned left, and crashed into her garage between 2 rows of tires (thank God I didn't hit the tractor just to the left of me!). I had skinned all the skin off my heel and had to go to the emergency room to get it cleaned up. Before, though, my aunt had cleaned it up with peroxide. Don't you just hate that stuff on big wounds? Burns like hell... That was probably when I was 10 or 11, but I don't remember. I'm 14 now, and I've had some other scooter injuries, too.
Now that I think about it, the heel injury was probably my most painful. I'm just glad you're alive Red Hairdo! Sounds like all you guys got lucky!
