Hiya all,

Here's a new member. I play(ed) Ys ever since I owned a MSX2 NMS8245. I'm sorry to say that it died quite some time ago. Should've been warned when it started to smoke

Anyway, I'm just a regular (yeah right) guy from The Netherlands, who just started playing Ys1,2&3 again on an emulator. Maybe you can let me know if 4&5 are also worthy of playing....

Hey! Welcome, welcome! I'm surprised to see that there are so many Ys fans from the Netherlands! We have quite a bunch here.

Anyway, if your MSX is dead, do you still have the games? Collecting Ys is one of the most satisfying things on earth, you know.

And yes, Ys IV and V are good games too. But I absolutely recommend the new YsVI that will be released for PS2 in english in America in February! Great news, but maybe you did like many of us, played the PC version last year. But it's still worth taking a look at this new version. If you want to know more, read around on this forum.
