I have Final Fantasy VII for the PC and I installed the patch to use the original PSX music for it (the midi's suck) but I don't know how to turn off midi playback so it doesn't leak through... Any suggestions? Maybe just playing it in XP since I dual booted my PC with XP and I installed it to C:\Final Fantasy VII?

You can't just mute the MIDI output?
I like the Captain's idea though. XD

Well, in Vista idk if there is a way to mute it, but I might be able to move them...they aren't raw MIDI's though, it's a bunch of data files. I can try moving them though, but it seemed like it didn't even install the psx music, but I will try moving them. Thanks.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that it won't even let me run it on XP unless I install it there, and I have very little space on there.

Hmm...sounds like it should work, but at the moment I think I messed it up by installing some mods such as the high res mod and I have to reinstall. I will try it after I do that though. Thanks!
