I just finished listening to it while working on a project and they did do a nice job getting in there to talk about a lot of Falcom titles and trying to make sense of the games and the order of things. It was interesting hearing the one guy talk about Falcom stuff for a bit, but some of the other interjections by the other two hosts I could have done with out. They ended up chalking Falcom up to a set of very confusing titles, which I'm not entirely sure is an accurate light to present Falcom under since there seems to be many other companies that do the same thing with their games. *shrugs*
Anyhow, it was fun giving it a listen, thanks for sharing Justin.

My god, even after I made that huge post in the club, they still have such a weird outlook on Falcom stuff.

I like to think that if I never started the Wikipedia game list, these guys wouldn't have had any info to work with and might not have decided that Falcom was a worthy enough topic. A bit irritating that they weren't actually informing as much as commentating on how little they know, but a fun listen - how can anything Falcom-related not be?

I listened to it yesterday. It was a fun listen, but I didn't really learn a whole lot other than Xanadu Next had an N-Gage port and that Faxanadu is a contraction of Famicom and Xanadu, which may actually motivate me to play through that thing -ud

Everytime someone mentions Faxanadu, it's hard NOT to pull a shameless plug. At any rate though, I highly recommend the title, even IF one of the programmers made a major programming error -- they gave the opposite opcode (BNE instead of BEQ) for the pendant check, causing more damage to be dealt without the pendant. I corrected it a few months back, but this hack's slowly turning into a different project entirely with how I've been messing around.

This wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but it was very sloppy. I would've been nice if they did a little prep work before this, so they didn't have to figure it out as they went along. I don't expect everyone to memorize the Dragon Slayer family, so write it down instead of talking over each other. They were all over the place.
The only things they go wrong that I noticed. They said Ys eternal is mouse controlled only, which isn't true, and they screwed up the order of the Legend of Heroes PSP games. Again even if they thought they were 1, 2 and 3 instead of 3 4, and 5 make a note of it.

To sum it up, the Retronauts are a people/website/group/show/etc. that we don't know.
