(Tomato, that is)So uh... hmm. I've been kinda sorta lurking here... more because I was directed here for all of my FIND ANSWERS HERE and shop item list translation needs for my only Ys game sitting on my lonely computer desk. Yes, yes, it was that fateful day while visiting Miss Lumi that I was introduced to the fine world of Ys Origin and was prompted BY FATE to purchase it the next day. Many, many playthroughs later, I'm still pretty hooked to it (working on a 4th Yunica playthrough now!), but I do wish I had more. Lo and behold, I am poor and cannot afford anything else yet. Though I do plan to pick up that DS Ys 1 and 2, and import Felghana and Ys 6 (The PC version seems so much more tantalizing with that translation notice on the top of the forum) in the near(?) future (lol money. ;_;). Why can't bills just go away? I should be able to spend all my cash on anime and games, GRAGH. That said, though my GAME knowledge of the whole Falcom world may be quite limited, I am a very, very, VERY avid fan of thier rockawesome music. Lumi gave me most (if not all?) of it... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I've been hopelessly hooked to all of it (chiptunes, orchestral and RAWK alike) since. Ranks among the best music I've ever heard, really. But yeah! Lumi told me I should totally register here, so here I be. I'll probably be a wispy little forumgoer, my POSTFEST FORUMATHON days of high school yore have long since passed, but I still enjoy this kind of thing. So~! See you all around? Yesyes!

Thanks for the warm welcomes! And I'll be sure to give Lumi a bonk on the head so she'll come say hi. Welcome, welcome! I wholeheartedly support this plan for purchasing of other Falcom games once money is acquired - though I'd recommend Ys I & II Complete on the PC over the Ys I & II DS. You can patch it to English, and it's just a much better version of the games. Maybe I just need to give it another try... I've had that version (burned, lawl >_>) for probably a year or two now, but the ... the bump system kinda threw me off at first. I like the raw actiony-ness of Origin and Felghana, so just ramming headfirst into enemies without the button mashing seemed boring. TBH The DS one sounded neat since they added the optional sword-swinging functionality, I thought that might make it more approachable for me. And it's a US release, so there's money going towards possible future english Falcom releases, right? :x I'll have to see if I ... rather WHERE I have that CDr laying around so I can give it another shot. I've got stacks of backups and burned stuff to sift through to find it, haha.

Bwahahahahahaha. Oh lord, $1625 tax return. So much for my money worries. XD
Totally ordering Felghana and Ys6 right now. And! I found the discs with Ys 1 and 2 complete and starting playing those. I'm still not a huge fan of ye olde bumpe systeme after playing for a few hours this morning, but I shall finish them, damnit!

Oh man, someone knows the name and avatar! You win! Yeah, though I'm only an obsessive fan in spirit, I (imagine I would) friggin' love that game. All I have to go on is (like a few hundred mb of) pictures, art, screencaps, sprites, gifs, videos and such, not to mention the whole soundtrack, which is bloody awesome. I check ebay and other sites for the game periodically but to no avail. I had an online friend at an old forum I used to frequent who directed me to the full game on some obscure ftp, and after a couple days worth of watching it DL in excitement, I never could get it to work. Crestfallen, my search kinda dwindled from there... Hehe, if you happen to know where I can get it... *nudge*

:( I would suggest Yahoo! Japan Auctions but I'm not even sure it's still around on there much anymore. You'd be looking for 創世記戦 3 and right now, it seems like only the soundtrack is available for a very low price of 13,000 yen! 9_9 (I'm being very sarcastic.) IIRC, the OST was never released as a stand alone product so that's probably a reason for the outrageous price. Apparently, www.weloveshopping.com/shop/shop.php?shopid=24181 is a Korean deputy service (despite the Thai(?) text on the site). Dunno if they're still around though and from what I understand, the site has been under construction since 2007. :P Well, THIS is rather random. XD What a pairing. ^^; (BTW, stay away from Magna Carta PC. It is a buggy as hell game.)

Magna Carta and Zwei! A nice pair indeed, haha. As far as Magna Carta PC goes, I'm afraid I'm all too aware. I got the game myself about 5 years ago... birthday gift for my 15th b-day I think it was. Kind of a let down, but I had a game that had Hyung-Tae Kim's art, so I was pleased. Bought Tears of Blood when the eng version came out here, too. Wasn't terribly impressed with either, but I've retained hopes that WG3, as an SRPG, would be better. The videos I've seen certainly loook more promising at least - and I've read it's good from folks who played it.

Well, Part 2 was certainly a fun game! :D It's funny when you beef up a single character though. ^^ During the last chapters of Episode 4, I was pretty much able to take out every enemy with Saladin only. Damn guy has too many area skills. :P
I never got around to playing Part 1 though since it seemed more complicated. There was an English patch floating around, I think. Never downloaded it since I don't think it was ever completed.
Ugh ... Magna Carta PS2 ... :P

XD!!!! ASHUUUU!!!! You registered, yay!!!
It should be noted that I love getting my friends hooked on all my bad habits. It should also be noted that 99.999% of the time I attempt it, I'm vastly successful at it too. >: ) Mwahaha.
So yay, nice to see you here, Ashurei~! 'Tis an awesome place... and the only community I continue to come back to (in spite of occasional post-lapses).
Three cheers for that tax return. XD I better hurry up and finish Felghana or you'll see the end of it before me... ^^;;;

/wave @ Lumi -- Registering here was the best idea ever. zomg thankyou for pointing that out, nunuu. What's Tempest like, btw? I think I've heard of that one, but never did any substantial research on it. WoG3's always been the focus of my little obsession.
