Hey, if you purchase something that uses a shipping method that has a tracking waybill such as UPS, EMS, etc., would you not expect the seller to, you know, PROVIDE the waybill without you asking for it?
>_>
I mean, whenever I ship stuff out with tracking, I always give buyers the info. >:/

They might have forgotten, I do that sometimes.

But I e-mailed on the weekend. =o=~ I expected a reply yesterday. :/ I e-mailed again this morning (even though the chances of it coming today are pretty high 9_9).

Okei, this is getting seriously STUPID.
The seller has auctions that ended yesterday and ending today so I doubt he's on vacation/unable to answer e-mails.
ALL I WANT IS THE FUCKING TRACKING NUMBER.
I wasted my day off yesterday waiting at home for the bloody package while I could have gone out grocery shopping.
I ask for UPS shipping because I want to have some sort of idea when something is coming and when it doesn't come "as scheduled", I want to know WHY. I can't have these details unless I have a bloody tracking waybill.
I don't like missing UPS shipments because I hate going to any of the nearby UPS Stores cuz they're all located at busy intersections and have next to no parking.
According to the UPS site, the in-transit time for UPS Standard from Columbus, Ohio (I take it it's actually coming from there and not some farther state) to my home should have only taken 2 business days. Since it was supposedly mailed out on Wed, March 4, it should have gotten here on Friday, March 6th.
So now, all I can think of is that it was stuck in customs over those days (which should have made Monday or yesterday the delivery date), was delivered to the damn black hole next door, or it never went out on said shipping day. Of course, without tracking, I HAVE NO IDEA.
If it's not here by today, I am leaving negative feedback for ignoring my e-mails and being thoroughly NOT impressed with after sales.

It actually drives me insane when the sender doesn't give me the tracking number. I mean.... I always go out of my way and try to pick courier or EMS simply because this whole entire country (and the customs) is like one big gigantic black hole of vengeance and simply swallows up any parcel/package that comes into it and without the tracking number, I can simply declare to it 'goodbye~!'. I guess I'm more particular though about things that are coming in through the Post Office and EMS rather than couriers (since with FedEx or UPS, its more a case of me being extra eager, checking the parcel's location for no reason whatsoever like a mad loon, because they never eat my things up?). ....But what I really hate the most about the sender not giving me the tracking number from the start is.... asking. I feel so mean asking. I really feel like I'm harassing the person. And if for some reason, the other person doesn't reply (as in your case!) then I feel extra guilty that I've somehow offended them! D': *fist shake at the world at all the instances of tracking numbers not being provided*

See -- the thing that has me worried the most is that UPS does up to 3 delivery attempts. The fact that they haven't even came by is what's making me worried.
Customs? Wrong delivery address? Taking a tour of Canada?
If there's no UPS by 15:00 today, I am going to SCREAM at the seller for being such a fucktard for not even keep me in the loop at what's happening at his end.
It shouldn't take anyone 3 days to type in a 15 alphanumeric waybill. If he can't find it, then fine. Shoot off a short e-mail and tell me.
Just because he already finished his part of the sale doesn't mean he should just hardcore ignore me.

People are stupid. Sometimes that's the only answer (or maybe it's just the only answer I can think of...)

By the way, for some reason, UPS does take a tour all over the world whenever any package is sent to me through them. :'D I don't know WHY but all the deliveries always first go to Dubai (yes, yes, lets send the package first to someplace er.... quarter of the world away~!), then it comes to Karachi, then Lahore, and finally when its thoroughly beaten up and raped and meandered all over Pakistan, it comes to my place. :/ It usually takes about a week...? Maybe, hopefully, your UPS has become like so too, and your neighbour of doom doesn't have his/her grubby claws on it?

In theory it saves them money if they pile all the items they get in a region to one center first and basically take a branched tree approach to delivery.

Yar, all packages have to go through certain UPS hubs before they get to their destination. Think of it like travelling on a plane to get halfway across the world; ya gotta make some stop-overs, y'see. ^_~
Ergh. So I e-mailed the seller AGAIN (3rd time, folks) in semi-rage. Not leaving the negative just yet. Instead, I gave him a wee bit of an ultimatum by threatening to dump a bit minus sign in his feedback.
I am thoroughly NOT impressed and will not buy anything from this guy again.
Edit: Wait, it looks to be the 2nd time. I have it in my mind that it's the third try since I could have sworn I e-mailed on Sunday or Monday too. It might have been that I was thinking about it but didn't bother then for whatever reason. Geez, now I feel like a heel for e-mailing again so fast. ^^;

Might be seeing some closure on this soon folks!
The seller finally wrote back stating that he was out of town, printed my address via eBay instead of PayPal and somewhere along the way, the address was somehow messed up so he received it back as a "wrong address" thing.
I dunno how that happened considering I just checked my address on both PayPal and eBay and they're exactly the same and completely correct.
Dunno if he's just bullshitting or UPS really did go goofy on him.
Sigh.
NEVER. AGAIN.
Update: ITEM HAS BEEN SHIPPED! TRACKING NUMBER RECEIVED! HUZZZZZAHHH! (Watch it come all beat up now ... OTL)

If it was a typo on the shipping label was indeed due to being printed from eBay, I don't know how he didn't catch that before shipping it off to begin with >_> People who don't double check things that take like 5 seconds sadden me

If I was in that situation, I'd have already neg'd him if he didn't refund shipping for wasting my time >_>

I don't like missing UPS shipments because I hate going to any of the nearby UPS Stores cuz they're all located at busy intersections and have next to no parking. I take it you live in an apartment building? I hate UPS with a passion. If I'm not there when they attempt to deliver it, just drop it outside the door. I don't pay for shipping so I can drive down to the nearest branch and pick it up. Fed ex all the way.

But still, it's not exactly convenient for me to drive to the nearest UPS Store to pick something up. I don't understand why they HAVE to be located at stupid busy intersections with tiny parking lots. Even most Canada Post locations aren't this dumb.

When I lived in Sweden, once the post dude couldn't fit a package in the mail box, so he just stuffed it deep down in the snow. Fortunately I was home when it happened and saw it out the window, so I could fetch it before the snow had much of a chance to melt and soak into the package.
Great service!
Thank satan for ems shipping. "Here, come to the post office to pick up your package which was supposed to be delivered to your door. Oh, and here, get these extra bills too while you're here! Don't want 'em? Well then you can say goodbye to your package (which we damaged along the road, lol)! Why pay less for more?
PS: We poisoned your cat."
