I don't know if I can count myself as bi/multilingual just yet. =P
My first language is English. I used to know some Spanish but I forgot pretty much all of it, and I'm presently in the process of learning Japanese. Only about a year and a half of learning/practice so far though, so erm... yeah. ^_^;; LONG way to go.

Sine the only language I think I can speak, understand, and write 100% is english, I just went with no. I was born into a Punjabi family so I can pretty much understand most Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu and a couple other South Asian languages (since they're all pretty much the same language). But when I speak it's kind of a combination of Punjabi and Hindi... and since I was never thought it formally (I learned from movies and my parents, mostly) nor speak for more than a minute, I rarely speak it perfectly unless it's a casual conversation. I can't write a word of it though. I've been trying to learn Japanese for years now, but something always comes up (at clix.to/gumi)... it's gotten really annoying having to go back after such long breaks (but I'll keep at it). Ive gotten 4/40 lessons completed... ugh. Oh yeah... and since I live in Canada... I was forced to endure a couple years of French class. The last class I had was in my first year of high school... needless to say, I don't remember even the basics any more

Fluent and highly proficient in English. I've got a writing job, and yeah, I may slip up from time to time, but I believe I have very strong Englsih skills.
I can read/write/speak Japanese with high proficiency(judging by their official tests, I'm a level 2 with level 1 being more fluent than the average Japanese) which is sad because my first language is Japanese. I'd probably be better if I used it more often. PSU has been helping with that.
As for Spanish, I remember a lot of my grammar but forgot a ton of vocab. Still, I've suvived days in Mexico without hostility/getting maimed/laughed at *too* hard...

English of course! Then I'm fluent in Khmer and only know enough Cantonese and Mandarin to have a light conversation with my father. Sadly, I cannot read or write anything other than English.

My first language is Portuguese (Brazilian type), and speak/write fluently in English and French. My Spanish is not bad also. And I can understand, mostly, Italian. And that's all for now.

but I believe I have very strong Englsih skills. I was gonna point that out but felt kinda bad doing so Trust Seldane. Anyway, no. No problems with English (obviously), had 7 years of school French experience which amounted to nothing, a year of Spanish which amounted to even less, and about 3 years of Latin for some reason. Now I've been studying Japanese for about 3 months full time now, and know that better than I do any of the others. Sad, isn't it? *double and triple checks post for typos and/or spelling errors*

Heh, I'm not even bilingual. If I'm more familiar with any other languages, they would be Spanish and some Hebrew. I recognize some Japanese, especially since playing a lot of import games, but I just haven't made a solid effort to learn it yet. I really would like to begin seriously studying it soon though.

Portuguese is my main language. After all, it's my country's main language. I learned english quite quickly, thanks to those bunch of games I've played since a looong time ago [+ my english teacher's classes (Just a bit )]. English is an easy language to learn, thankfully. Since I studied (and still study) in a German school, I learned German too (duh xD). Though it's not as good as my english. You see, the only problem is vocabulary variety. Currently I'm studying to end with that issue...It pisses me off sometimes since I forget lots of words if I don't use that language frequently...'¬¬ It's been 2 years since I started to learn Spanish. Since it has many similarities with my main language, it's not very hard to learn, if one puts some effort in it. (Some words are very tricky though. xD It's a funny language). But I still have to..."harden" it. I'd love to learn Japanese and Italian. When I achieve High school, I'll try to find somewhere I can learn those last two languages, because I love them. = )

Heuh... je parle français? Mais c'est un français pas mal barbare, c'est plus du joual... Not-So Translation: I speak French, but I can guarantee you that no one outside of Canada will understand me. I speak Quebec slang, I do. I do write properly... or at least, that's what the government says when I translate. That could mean anything, though. je te connais... mais je vais practiquer mon francais...
