What happened to that thread? Up until where I saw it, there was no reason of deleting it without leaving even a trace of it.

This is neither the place nor the time to be talking about that. This is about Ys and Falcom related topics and thangs, so leave it at that ok. People get easily offended and you have to respect that as a member of the community.

Yeah. It's kinda bad that Lindaluv specifically asked for people's views on why homosexuality isn't 'bad', and then the thread started getting into some good discussions,- progress in showing her her erroneous assumptions may've been made- and it got deleted.
It's especially frustrating since Lindaluv's original comments what spawned the thread were pretty inflammatory, and smoothing it all over just allows her to act like it never happened.

Im sorry your sensitive to an opinion you dont agree with when all I wanted was to get in a debate in an informative and intellectual manner. If i got off on the wrong foot point it out. Now Im being warned too and wish to follow the rules and want to state that to others and you view it as trying to smooth it over, it DID happen and people don't like it I get it, you don't like opinions that you don't agree with, but show that in a respectful manner, just as I respect your take and view on the matter, the least you can do is respect mine.

? I think I wasn't around when such a thread was started. Oh well, anyway, apparently it's been excluded for a good reason, so let us leave it be. (By the way, this one perhaps should be excluded as well, eventually, I believe. )

People get easily offended and you have to respect that as a member of the community. Hold up, I'm gonna translated this. "Ah boo boo hoo they're so mean they called me out on being a giantic bigot and they used wikipedia links aboo hoo!" No. I don't have to respect bigotry. And I don't have to respect bigots. And you, ma'am, are a bigot. Don't get offended when you go around spouting off hate and people call you out on it. Even Musa, who holds a similar view, managed to have a decent conversation on the topic. Now why don't you put your money where you mouth is and answer what Varion and I asked you yesterday? Edit: Also, where do you get off telling us what we can and cannot talk about?

(Off: Ehm, wait, now I think I recall such a thread... ow, wasn't it a really old one?)
Well, actually, Cap'n, I think we all here are bigots. xD This is an Ys board!
Anyway, I agree with you that there's nothing wrong when debating on any or most subjects we would like to and that we have the freedom to do so, but your message just now is... disrespectful, I think. I'd edit it at least a bit if I were you... =|

Personally, I don't see why it was deleted. Perhaps it took some turn for the insane after I went to sleep, I don't know. And that's what bothers me most. I was deprived the ability to see responses to my posts, and therefor cannot defend myself on them.
Also: Lindaluv, you say this isn't the time and place to talk about it, but you yourself made the assertion that "Gays are bad", and then made the thread to discuss it. You can't really say "eh nevermind, i don't want to be told I'm wrong, I don't want to have to consider my own abhorrent and hateful views" when the discussion doesn't go your way.
It was my intention to show that homosexuality is not a choice someone makes, but is a result of biological factors which are not controlled. Thuswise, likening an anti-gay attitude to racism, or other forms of prejudice. Those are not acceptable things, especially in a community which may have homosexual members.

How am I to show respect to this person, Red?
She doesn't respect us, goes around bigoting at homosexuals when we have at least one homosexual who posts here, refuses to actually answer for any of it, then tries to pretend like nothing happened and tries to tell us what we can and cannot talk about.
I tried to show respect. And it got me nowhere. So now I'm just going to be honest.
