I've been waking up more and more often to cramps in my right arch. I've looked it up (so I don't end up accidentally kicking Stephanie one morning ) and I found I should probably get some kind of arch support -- new in-soles, and there's always the small golfball trick, just rub your problem arch with it to stretch it out. Otherwise, I typically wake up kicking and I remedy the problem by pulling my toes back. Does anyone else here suffer from foot cramps? How have you taken care of them?

Well it definitely helps to stretch and crack your feet to make sure you have enough blood flow circulating to your feet, but it sound like it might be an arch support issue. New Balance makes a damn fine inexpensive shoe that has great arch support. Or you can put in a couple of gel pads (some are better than others so read reviews) made for shoes, that'll help more than you think.
As for remedies, try soaking them in a tub of Epsom Salts on occasion and walk/step on something spiky that can push into your feet.

Try drinking some mineral water for a week. It has magnesium, which most people don't get enough of in their diets. It can help with some muscle wackiness.

SkyeWelse mentioned gelpads. Maybe the Walk Fit will work? www.walkfit.com/One of my co-workers wears them and when I asked about them he went on and on about how great they were for his feet. He even said it felt like his back had better support thanks to them.

Magnesium? I've got plenty of that in my diet, thanks to Powerade -- that's all I ever drink! The only problem is, it turns my mouth blue. XD Walkfit sounds cool, it doesn't appear to have arch support though. I'll keep that in mind anyway. Awesome suggestions, guys!
