Hii guys. New to the forums and a rather large Ys fan :]. I never usually register to forums dedicated to games, or a series of games, but I can't seem to stop loving these games so much.
Little about me;
Name is Tyler, Ty for short. I'm 20 Between highschool and college huge gamer. Love RPG type games Recently played the Ys games for the first time and I love them. So far i'v only played Ys OiF and Ys AoN. Personally I like OiF more then AoN, but both are still great. AoN was a little to vague on what to do, for my tastes. And last boss was to easy ._., beat him in like 3 minutes with no healing items D:.
Butt that's really all i'm sure you want to know about me ^^

hi2unewguy. Welcome and stuff~ I don't think you were supposed to kneel before Captain, though; rather this ZOD being. I won't interfere in his dealings, though. I just sit back and laugh. Agree with ya on the Ys VI front. Second to last boss provided a decent challenge, at least. Decent meaning ... you could die a few times just trying to powerhouse through it... and it worked as long as you could intercept the heals from the homunculi. Definitely pick up Ys Origin when you get the chance, it's my personal favorite. Fun array of characters too, each with a different playstyle and magics!

And I only kneel before you cause your name has "director" in it . There's a secret boss in all the versions. Well... do some research about it. The location and all. The boss is called either Majunun or Majuunun (I forgot which).

For some reason I find the concept of laser beam eyes entirely hillarious. Hillarious...but oh so deadly! =O
Anyway, nice to meet you Ty. ^_^ Like the others said, Origin is a good choice if you liked Napishtim and Felghana, being based on the same engine and all. The rest of the Ys series are a little bit different. And some of Falcom's other games are quite different again. But most everything they've made shares the same infectious charm as OiF and AoN, sooo... I don't think you'll be disappointed regardless of what you try. ^_^;
I'm trying to sound totally knowledgeable despite not having played Origin before. Come to think of it, how many Falcom games have I played? And why am I here to begin with? And where is here? I think I'm lost. Help me, Mommy... ;_;
