Simple question!
Do you leave your games, books, CDs, things you collect vulnerable to sun damage?
For the longest time, I used to be paranoid with the spines of my CDs and books fading in colour so I'd place them on the shelf with the other side of the case and pages facing outward. :P
Now, I just don't care anymore.
Well, that's not true. It's more like I tend to leave my curtain only a quarter of the way up so I get a little bit of sun shine in my room and not the full brunt of sun rays.

I store stuff in random bookshelves, etc. I don't worry about dust or sunlight as I've never had a problem with it before. Nothing to worry about unless you put the stuff on your window shelf or something. All right! Random photos of bookshelves! No idea why I posted that. Well, the window is right next to these shelves, so they don't get exposed to any sunlight I guess.

I've never had problems with sun damage, but now that I'm working on organizing my Ys collection there are stacks of Ys CDs on the floor. I can't put them back on the shelf until I finish scanning all of them.

Man, I wish I had the option of shelves and wardrobes. I have hundreds of books that are stacked on the floor because I have no place else to put them. =[

I need not worry about sun damage either, as my room full of stuff only has one tiny window that's got this nifty stained-glass style tinting on it. Plus the sun never really hits that window directly anyway.
Suffice to say I have several giant bookshelves and racks double-stacked with music, DVDs, and books. And what doesn't fit is piled wherever. ^^; It's quite cluttered... but at least I know where everything is.

Here's a peek at my current unorganized situation: I need to fix this, now. There is too much of this going on.

I have a problem with forgetting about things if I put them away so my room is very unorganized, but I generally remember where I put things. Though I did just this morning forget get where I put some pictures I owe someone for a birthday gift they gave me. Don't worry though I'll find them...maybe. Sadly things in my room are worse since about a year and eight months ago The Captain took my desk and left me his really crappy one, that I hate to sew on because It has been making cracking sounds as of late. I think it's about to break apart. Anyway my room's pretty messy, and I find it very funny that a lot of people are surprised that I can find anything at all in my room. Also I will take my desk back if the other one breaks Captain! And likely even if it doesn't!

WOMAN, I WILL OVERCOME MY ARTHRITUS FOR THE BRIEF SHINING MOMENT I NEED FOR MY UNALTERATED RIGHTEOUS FURY TO REDUCE YOU TO THE DUST!
Stimpson and I have small living spaces, so small desks are needed. After a bout of arthritus and muscle spasms literally put me in ER, it was decided I need to sit more I have a laptop I used to use in bed, as I had only the aforementioned desk that Stimpson now has, because it is too small for me (I am about a foot taller than Stimpson). Thus we traded, as buying a new one is out of the question due to financial straits. We're still looking for one to replace mine so she can have her's.
