I wish everyone a Saint Valentine's Day!  (I wasn't sure if there was going to be a Valentines Day thread so I decide to make one.)  Now for all of you who may have forgotten Valentines Day is on Wednesday, meaning if still need to get something for someone special this is your last chance. I've never understood the appeal of diamonds, myself. They're just... clear... basically. I prefer colored stones.

Great start to Valentine's Day for me - school was cancelled! Nice little surprise, especially since there's less than an inch of snow on the ground (but who's complaining? =]). Happy Valentine's Day to all!

My university closed last night at 6, and is opening at 10 this morning. But we didn't get any snow, just rain that froze and made everything slick.

I woke up at 4:30 AM to shovel the bloody snow so I could get to work. Well, we eventually got the snow blower working so the shovelling time was considerably reduced. (There needs to be some snow blowers that can be start up like cars, dammit.)
The snow seriously didn't stop until the afternoon rush hour.
Anyway, happy belated to all. :P
