Yes, I do. But sometimes, like when I go out at night or when I go to the beach, I wear contact lenses. I have no problem with them.

Adieu. Err, crap, I mean 'I do'. AGH, I'm not getting married! I DO WEAR GLASSES. There. Much better.
Anyway, yeah. My vision started blurring in 9th grade, and it became a problem when I couldn't read the board in algebra. Though I did get pretty mad when the teacher moved me up to the front, 'cause then I couldn't idle around anymore.
On a completely different note... hi. Former lurker of approximately 7 months here. Haven't had much room for a formal introductory post, but I got bored of a lack of involvement and decided I might as well work it into this post since there's no introduction topic. Boo.

... how the hell did I miss that? *facepalm*
I blame the massive amounts of caffeine I've been pumping into myself over the past 7 hours.

Why not the alternatives?! Touching my eyes sounds unfun, and LASERBEAM fix is... no. Glasses are hot, anyhow! I thought of including laser surgery in the pool. xD But it would be a bit rendundant, since I think whoever did it would consequently NOT be wearing glasses, then vote on "No". xD I think my sister may have to go through it, by the way.

I know it's not supposed to be (since there seem to be a lot of people who've....... well nothing's happened to them! :'D), but still! The mere thought of evil lasers of doom... beaming down to slice ye in two.......... ack! D: ...Not that I need it. X'D I can see pretty well. (Sort of ). Apparently I'm a minus something~

Yep, I wear them and have been for many years. I blame sitting too close to the tv as a child. : ) But it was well worth it, because I saved the world from Dr. Wily many times...

Yeah SkyeWelse, it was definitely worth it! At least we escaped from being ruled by an evil genius. xD
And I wouldn't mind, actually, having those evil lasers of doom slicing my eyes. Unfortunately, it seems like it'd be dangerous for me since I had an accident once that created some fibrosis (?) under my left eye. So I guess it's better to keep seeing not that well with both eyes than seeing great with only one.

I've had bad eyesight since kindergarten ;>> And I bet I've got the prescription high-score out of everyone here too [eh, my eyes are worse than my mom's by a point and I'm only 22 o.O] Tried contacts, got huge headaches, and my eye doctor said my eyesight should "stabilize" before considering laser; I hate having things in my eyes, unless they knock you out before they do it...because you'd WATCH them blasting lasers into your eyes otherwise XD

I wear contact lenses. I got them about 16 year ago, and haven't worn glasses since. I'd blame tv, but it's more likely genetics, both parents wear glasses.
That is typical when you are getting used to them. That is why the doctors will tell you only an hour or two at first, because gradually increasing. You were probably very aware of them too, but you can get used to all that. I wear contacts about 18 hours, basically whenever I'm conscious.

I also couldn't get out of that poking-my-non-existent-glasses habit too ^^; I have to get new ones to try again since my sight's gotten worse since then x.X it's weird having fully visible peripheral vision XD

What does this mean?

Not sleeping enough maybe? I used to get a skull-splitting migraine in my left temple every morning. Stopped when I decided that perhaps 4 hours of sleep was insufficient and that a daily helping of extra strength excedrin was a terrible solution. Don't get 'em anymore! Outside of that, no idea. :X

I actually have insomnia so I do not sleep enough. That might be it.
Also, the doctor said my sleep only gathers 1/2 as much energy as most people. As in, I only get half rested from a full sleep...

Randomly popping in here to note that I no longer wear spectacles...
...because I did indeed have my eyes LASERED! XD PEWPEW!
Seriously, it was some of the best money I've ever spent. No more fussing with glasses, no slapping contacts on my eyeballs, and I see oh so perfectly fine~ It was pretty awesome how fast it happened, too. I hadn't realized how blurry my world was until I got outside the place after 'surgery' and was WOWED by how I could suddenly see individual leaves on trees across the street instead of... green stuff.
So yeah, Lasik is pretty awesome stuff.
