My vision's been getting progressively worse, and I don't see an end in the near future. What's odd, though, is that both my sisters AND my mother, AND my mother's mother, AND her sisters, were all wearing glasses by kindergarten. My problems didn't kick in until high school. Hell, I've had breathing problems somewhat recently, too, which may or (probably) may not be linked to both my sisters being highly asthmatic at very young ages. If I remember correctly, my vision in my left eye is now 20/250 and 20/350 in my right. It was about half that bad back in 9th grade. At least I like my glasses, though.

I can't imagine not seeing well! D: It'd be such a change, especially considering how much I LOVE visuals... ):

I've always felt kinda bad for those people who've had glasses since they were little kids. It seems like it would be such a pain to put up with especially at a young age, since children are cruelly honest as a general rule of thumb. @_@ Yeeks. 20/250 and 20/350? Those numbers seem high to me... Granted, my vision pre-pewpewlazerfixd was something like 20/70 and 20/90, I think. Certainly not blind, but I couldn't really read street signs until I was like, AT the light. Fat lot of good that does a person.

Before anyone here starts complaning or whatever, think of those who are blind.

xD
It was just a "warning". xD
Anyway, my point is/was, we, people, usually complain so much about what we don't have, about what we want... but actually we already always have so much.

No complaints here; rather I'm grateful in all cases. ^^; I mean, no sight for me also means no drawing. And that's a huge problem.

Btw Lumi, now that you brought it up, now that you had your eyes pewpewlazerzed, does that mean now you can draw EVEN better?!? ?!

Btw Lumi, now that you brought it up, now that you had your eyes pewpewlazerzed, does that mean now you can draw EVEN better?!? o_O?! Haha! Nah, not really. I was near-sighted anyway. So drawing was never hampered by my need for glasses, since I'm usually 'nose-to-the-page' when I draw anyway. ;) Getting older will suck though. I'll need cheaters/reading glasses to draw! HO NOES!! T_T

You would look positively smashing in a monocle. I think Red's onto something there! O:

You think so? XD I think a cravat would be in order there too. Or at very least, I demand a sword-cane to complete the Britannia villainess ensemble.
What practical purpose (aside from raising cool points) DO those things serve, anyway...? >_>
