We all do it, cuz simply, sooner or later? Our lives are going to suck. Complaining's theraputic. No one's really going to care over much past your select circle, but at least you get the satisfaction of knowing you screamed it out somewhere, somehow. So by all means, complain here.
Oh what a year this is turning out to be. *singsong*
In the first month of '07, misfortune sent to me~ Medical bills and doc' tryin' to make me a druggy~!
In the second month of '07, misfortune sent to me~ Job down the drain, medical bills and the doc trying to make me a druggy~!
In the third month of '07, misfortune sent to me~ One computer frying, Job still MIA, medical bills and the doc trying to make a druggy~!
I just can't WAIT to see what else is around the corner. {/sarcasm}

The first month of 07 brought me... the airport destroying my laptop. I got it repaired though. ^_^

Hmm... yeah, I know what you mean, Cyhirae... most of my life as felt more on the sucky side. Even more so since computers entered my life but that's totally a love-hate relationship... but this thread does really remind me of a certain Therapeutic Thread

This year started out with my school computer breaking, and then not getting replaced for a month and a week or so. Now I have tons of homework to make up and no one seems to be giving me any extensions on it, considering that it's the schools fault that I didn't get my new one sooner. That's all for now. Also, is being really smokeless that bad?

Presently I have a cold and asthma clawing at my lungs. That rather sucks. Being smokeless really sucks if you're a smoker. (I'm not, but I know MANY of them.)

Sorry about your cold, and I know all about the pains of asthma, it's not fun.
Wouldn't being smokeless be a good thing after the withdraw and all that?

No way! It's so much fun feeling like someone has a rubber band doubled over to squeeze your lungs in half! XD Bleh... -_-; I'm just kinda hoping this doesn't turn into the pneumonia that's been going around the office where I work.
The unfortunate thing is that like most habits, just because you bypass any withdrawal (which can take a WHILE)... you can still have it come back to nag you. And the fact is, smoking is usually a stress relieving act for a smoker. So unless you get something that'll replace the habit, it's got a pretty good chance of coming back. I've watched a lot of people quit willingly-- then wind up picking it back up anywhere from six months to a year or two later.

Pneumonia huh? Well I hope you don't catch it too then something really bad might happen, like hospital bad. I didn't think about the stress relieving part but, I could see where that would be a problem.

Good luck with that job, getting an overnight at Walmart will no doubt land you dozens of stories about the dregs of humanity that shop there.

TODAY AT 2 PM: I have a job interview with Walmart, sounds VERY promising!! Overnights, 10-7! Woo hoo! Good luck, man. and to boot every day is allergy season in phoenix (sad but true) I think it was the psychotic mood swings of Mother Nature that we had last week or so that made me catch this bug. Heat, rain, heat, heat, cool.... @_@ Oh how I love springtime.....

You need to call them! Be aggressive. That is the key to getting a job. They have plenty of applications. You need to make yourself stand out. They will always hire someone who looks really interested in the job over someone who just filled out an application.
That's my two cents. I'm applying to THQ as a QA tester. Wish me luck!

If you have friends order food and never come for it, you can claim it for yourself maybe and kill two birds with one stone! Maybe one of those birds is you!
Shit, good luck man.

Congrats, man. And good luck.
You'll probably never wanna eat fast food again after working there awhile... or so I hear. Never worked in fast food. Nor do I eat it if I can help it...

Haha, same here. Always hungry, always eating (at least when I have something to eat), never gaining weight.

Er, yeah-- lack of a car kinda lends itself to mandatory exercise.
I used to exercise regularly. Didn't do much for the weight. I got bored with it and gave it up. Not that I'm vastly overweight or anything. But a size or two smaller would be nice... :-\
