You can explain with photos too. :D --------------- I used to collect buttons (like those badge things with the pin) and pencils. Actually, I still sort of collect buttons but only of nemu*nemu. Then I moved onto cute (mostly Japanese) stationery. :3 Now I collect keychains and cell phone straps~! I also buy magnets with the names of the cities I visited including stop overs from plane trips (in the cities themselves, of course :P). If I had more money, I'd go after Nendoroids too. >:/ Edit: Forgot to mention that I used to collect trading cards of Sailor Moon, The Simpsons, Houshin Engi, Falcom Collection, Suikoden Card Stories, and Tales of Fandom. Oh, and I have a full set of New Kids on the Block cards too. >_>!!

Game Soundtracks, comic books, Falcom stuff, Games, and sometimes manga. The action figure collecting of me and my brother got out of control in the 90's, so I had to stop. Now we rent out a storage space to store all of them, which are unopened. Series range from nearly a complete set of unopened Robotech figures, Transformers, Star Wars, Spawn, Marvel, DC and X-men stuff.

The usual game-related goodies, and music & such. But the one you lot may NOT know about me is this: Faerie Glen Figurines. Although I haven't gotten many in a long time; I do collect faeries and faery-related stuff. ^.^; So it's girly. Shut up. >_>

Well I collect a lot of things, but mostly they are gaming related such as specific series or collectibles for specific series. It all started when I got heavily into Suikoden and for a time I had just about everything there ever was for anything related to Suikoden I - III. The series more or less fell out of favor with me around Suikoden IV, so I kind of halted my collection there. Panzer Dragoon is still my favorite series of all time and I believe I've collected everything there is for it, including games, books, audio cds, posters, sheet music, key chains and one of the 500 limited cast resin statues of Orta and Lagi. Then there is the Xak series, which I'm a huge fan of. I'm missing only a few items from that set as well as the Xanadu series... Hoping to complete it soon enough. Other than that, I guess I've tried my best to collect most of the original Mega Man/ Mega Man X series games, all of the Zelda games ever released in NA (including the dreadful CD-i games) and all of the Metroid games... mostly. I used to collect everything related to Resident Evil and I think I've got all of the games ever released, aside from RE: Gaiden. Oh and anything Falcom related that I can get my grubby hands on. : ) One day I'll see if I can take a picture of the Falcom stuff. Maybe once I move and have a nicer place to set it all up on. But yeah, it is all about the thrill of collecting for me. It's fun, exciting and rewarding at times, while other times it eats my wallet... -Thomas

I used to collect video games, but this has recently come to an end. I'm just into grabbing the odd title here and there, and its for a quick play. I got a fiancee, a job, and I'm saving for a house. So in essence you could say I'm in a constantly collecting my free time to enjoy my various hobbies. Oh and I have a shatload of model/resin kits, but they are stuffed into a closet.
EDIT: Zoel, I was looking at those pics, and your version of Lunar for Saturn has a different cover than mine. Is yours the special video card only version?

Yeah I own 2 versions of it. One of them requires the VCD card to play, but the movie quality is much better then PS counterpart and its only 1 disk , so no more disk swapping.

My Saturn version doesn't require the VCD card to play, and I think its one disk.

Yeah they are both 1 disk. But is your movies full screen? Because from what i know, when they release the first version, the movies weren't full screen, they take up only about half the screen, so they release the MPEG version which they call it Lunar Silver Star Complete which requires a VCD card in the back slot.

Aside from the obvious, which I would consider gaming on this forum; I used to collect manga like a madman. Very first paycheck I ever got from my first job I went out and blew in one night at a comic store on manga. Over a couple years I amassed about 250 books, give or take a few. I've slowed down, I only buy a couple a year now, but I still keep it growing, slowly but surely. And for the weird: I collect calendars. I've got 10 hanging on my walls and my little falcom calendar on my desk. I just pick whatever picture I like best from each old calendar and display it, and keep the calendar for the current year up to date.... when I remember to. I've lapsed an entire month before, haha. I'm pretty bad about changing it on time. I can't imagine how screwed I'd be if I lived in any other state (i.e. had to deal with daylight savings and clock changes).

Yes, they are smaller, which is why I went with the PS versions in the end (well, and because they were English too). Still, I watched my friend play through it on Saturn, and the differences were pretty minimal. Ether way, I'm all about collecting the different versions. I accidentally sold my Lunar Legend for GBA, which I'm totally kicking myself in the ass for.

I bizarrely went through a phase and collected hubcaps (don't ask why). Did you remove them directly from parked cars or something? My bro used to have a friend that collected street signs -- like literally climbing up and removing them. >_>

I bizarrely went through a phase and collected hubcaps (don't ask why). Did you remove them directly from parked cars or something? My bro used to have a friend that collected street signs -- like literally climbing up and removing them. >_> This just reminded me of how when I was about 5 or 7 years old, I used to collect these...... stickers that one places around the keyhole on one's car door? (Does anybody know what I'm talking about? They were usually rectangualar with a circle cut out in between for the keyhole, and usually had the logo of some car manufacturer, like Suzuki or Toyota.....) Aaaaanyways, 5 year old thieving me used to scrape and pull them off poor unsuspecting people's cars while me parents were off picking up something from a shop and had left me behind in a car. .......This has also reminded me that I also used to stealcollect the lowest measuring weight unit thing (a tiny gold flattened orb thing?) from grocers? For about 2 years all the grocers of Islamabad (this city was not so big then. Only a couple of sectors) lived under the terror of their golden tiny little weight disappearing at any moment, mysteriously, until me mom found me secret stash of 'gold'. And so ended me career of gold collection. T___T I never replied to this thread did I?! I collected a lot of rubbish over the years! The most notable were the collections of odd tissues, coins from different countries, stones from historical monuments/palaces/ruins, and stamps~ (Still do collect stamps actually. :'D) I got told off for filling the house with junk though, so all I collect now are..... artbooks, other books (fantasy novels, to be exact [Terry Pratchett stuffs, to be even more exact!]), aaaaand.... that's it. Brushes? And trading cards! Wish I could collect Nendoroids. T___T (But I don't like squishing all figures together on a shelf. >__> They should be nicely placed..... in a proper manner..... So lack of space!)
((Also. I can't believe Gamemusicfreak has so many figures that he's had to rent out space just for them?! O___O WOW!))
(((Wheeeee~~~~ wall of text on ancient old topics~~~~!!!!!!)))
