Well, more like celebrities that we're more or less familiar or grew up with since I realize that there ARE a lot of folks that pass on every year. (Doesn't the Oscars always pay tribute to the ones that left the previous year in the follow year?)
But yeah, geezus, now Patrick Swayze is dead too.
WTF?

... Swayze finally kicked the bucket? That's news to me. But I'm much more mental over Midnight dying. Seriously, he was one of the best vocalists in the HISTORY of music. AND HE DIED! He was only 47. :/

Never heard of him, or knew much all those celebrities that died this year.
Except for MJ, obviously. =s

Mine too.....
She was supposed to die from a big ass tumor a few years ago. She recovered, but my mom is a different person now. She is sick again, and she also has a booze problem to "cope". [/bitter]

Ye know.... I just realized, I keep finding out about these celebrity deaths only because of you guys. :'D Otherwise I'd never know what on earth is going on. But anyways, my mom was more devastated with this news than me. I mean.... I found it sad too! But Patrick Swayze was one of her ultimate favourite actors soooo.... Sad.

Geez... I would say that Donnie Darko ruined all imaginable imagery of Patrick Swayze for me, except I grew up with Ghost. That was one of the saddest films ever, and quite possibly to this day I'd still cry watching it. I don't know a whole lot about the actor, I only know the roles he played; but that's enough for a lot of us, isn't it? I can't believe all of the celebrities we've lost... not to mention former American leaders.
Next thing you know, it'll be Fabio. The guy known for saying "I cannot believe it's not butter!" and appearing on the box/cartridge art for the NES' Wizards and Warriors II: Ironsword.
